We've just got back from a week's holiday at Rolling Waves, and it's been brilliant. Alec and Jenny are great hosts, pleasant and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel itself is very clean and tidy, and the rooms are cleaned daily. The room I had was big enough for me, with plenty of room to put... More

I can define this place where we stayed as quite, nice, friendly, lovely, clean. Its location might not be good if you want to be in Newquay centre but it is not so far away and its location makes it a very quiet place to be. The owners are very lovely and helpful and they have the place very clean,... More

We stayed at Rolling Waves B&B in Porth (Newquay), during the August Bank Holiday. It was our first time in the area, so we didn't know how convenient the location would be. The double room was a bit pricey for a B&B (£90/night, £270 for 3 nights), but we booked it one month in advance and being a bank holiday... More

Stayed midweek for a few days. What lovely friendly owners. Occupied a single room, and although a bit small was adequate for my needs. The room was spotless. Single room is not en suite but this is no problem, as shower room is a few steps down the hall. Mixer shower over the bath was a bit fiddly, trying to... More

Stayed for the weekend and on arrival was greeted with a well needed drink and a friendly welcome. Room decor pretty and everything needed to hand. Great views of Porth beach and excellent breakfast. What more could you want.

Contacted rolling waves last minute due to cancellation and we were so glad we did- Alex and Jenny were very kind and welcoming- nothing was ever too much trouble!! Great location- a little further from Newquay town but it was a £5 cab trip away or a longer walk- clean and tidy with great breakfast!! Highly recommended!!

We contacted Rolling Waves last minute on a Wednesday evening as we we let down by a hotel in Central Newquay. Fate was obviously looking out for us, as the original hotel was full of noise from coach trips. Finding the Rolling Waves on the quieter edge of Newquay with some nice cliff walks just outside the door and a... More

Just spent a very enjoyable week with Alec and Jenny at the Rolling Waves. This is the 8th year we have stayed there and there is always a warm welcome with great food and nothing is too much trouble for them.
