Good location, close to beaches and centre of town. Bright room but overdone with room freshener (unplugged this). Fairly clean. My room had an en-suite with a tiny sink. Second room did not have an en-suite. Friendly owners. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. For the price we paid it was definitely value for money. more

We had a great 4 nights in this lovely guest house - it was perfect for what we wanted. Really central but with no noise from any nightlife, and really close to Fistral Beach. This lovely guesthouse is just 2 or 3 minutes walk from Fistral beach,The couple that own it are so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had a wonderful stay. On the rainy day we had they made many useful suggestions of how we could enjoy Newquay and we had a great day despite the weather. The rooms are modern... more

After reading tripadviser reviews we booked into the Driftwood b/b.only to be slightly disapointed. Although the rooms were clean and central i thought the room we stayed in was poorly decorated and the breakfast was measly and over cooked.Don't believe everything you read. more

This is a great little guesthouse right near town with lovely views of the sea. The owners are really friendly, the breakfast is really nice, the rooms are nicely decorated and the bathroom is lovely. Would recommend this place to anyone going for a short break to Newquay for sure. more

oh my god top newyear in newquay and top place. very festive guest house, even had chocs and party poppers in our room BLOODY FANTASTIC. love the place clean and fresh going back in summer rip curl. more

This guest house is warm and welcoming, very central. The couple or friendly and the place is clean and modern going back for new year already booked. recormmend family and couples excellent breakfast!!!!!!!!! more

We have stayed in many guest houses/ hotels in newquay in the past as part of our yearly visit but none have been so stylish, warm and welcoming. The Driftwood Guest House is a newly refurbished premises where know expense has been spared on fixtures and decoration unlike so many of the other lettings we have stayed in the past... more
