Arrived at night to be shown to our room and dropped our bags in delight as we rushed to the balcony over looking the harbour, lights of the fishing boats and the town and far away distant bays twinkling and the moonlight on the water just took our breath away. Up to the Red Lion for a late supper and... more

The best thing about this hotel is its location. The views are superb. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the central Newquay beaches and harbour is second to none. It’s within 5 mins walking distance of shops, and the beaches are just down the steps from the hotel when the tide is out. I was travelling with my sister and niece... more

My husband and I stayed in Newquay this past weekend to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We enjoy finding quality restaurants around London with interesting atmosphere and great food. We wanted to find a special restaurant for our anniversary dinner, with amazing views of the local beaches and harbour and situated away from the noisy tourist crowd on the main... more

We were in Room 4 which is v small but perfectly formed. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the harbour and the sea. The hotel is in the centre of town but off a side street which means that it is away from the noise, hustle and bustle. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked.... more

We had lunch and dinner here. Both times the food was absolutely excellent, and the service was great. Views over the harbour are lovely. Newquay is in short supply of decent restaurants - make sure you don't miss this one. Just down from the Red Lion pub, at the Fistral beach end of the harbour. more

The location is fantastic. We saw the sign outside stating that breakfasts were being served. We went in and sat down, well before they were due to stop serving breakfasts, and the waitress asked for our drink order but did not offer a menu. I said we wanted breakfast and she said they were no longer serving. I advised that... more

Best restaurant inside Newquay town. We've been to most of them, and thoroughly enjoyed this. My only wish is that we had returned here instead of trying the 'New Harbour Restaurant' on the harbour itself. more

Just returned from 3 nights in this wonderful small hotel. The web site said we would see seals in the harbour, fat chance I thought!. Looked out of our window, guess what! yes seals fantastic. The weather was cool but we still enjoyed sitting on the wonderful balcony drinking in the scenery & the wine. This place seems like a... more

We spent a lovely long weekend at the Harbour Hotel. We were in two rooms; Room 1 for myself, hubbie and our 17 month old, and Room 4 for my Mum. Room 1 was spacious; we had lots of room to move around even though we had a travel cot in there, courtesy of the hotel. Room 4 was compact... more

Stayed here for the Easter Break - what a fabulous location, views from the bedrooms are stunning, you could sit on your balcony all day watching the Harbour. We ate in the restaurant one of the evenings and the food is locally sourced and beautifully cooked. Breakfast is excellent as well! We have stayed at the Headland in the past... more
