Us group of 5 fellas decided to go on a "lads on tour" trip to newquay after destroying our GCSE's. Our host Andy was a sound fella, who cooked a mean breakfast. He also dressed smartly and knew what he was doing- I was genuinely surprised he didn't take us for a cheeky nandos! The room was just what the... More

We were looking for a place to attended after we had finished our GCSEs, Longbeach looked like the best candidate for this. We arrived and were welcomed with open arms and the host Andrew made us feel welcome. The room was very pleasant it was able to house us all comfortable and we had a room to cook and chill.... More

Was a great trip, I highly recommend. The location was perfect because of easy access to the town, 5 min walk to fistral beach and a spar 1 minute down the road for everyday goods (there was also a large sainsbury's for larger stops). It was also on a quiet side street meaning no road noise. Had some very pleasant... More

Lovely view over golf course and fistral beach from the window. Unfortunately only stayed for one night but would love to return. On a quiet street, but town centre 5 mon walk and fistral beach 10 mins. Warm welcome, clean and comfortable. Would recommend to friends

A Wednesday night get a away for two. Friendly and welcoming host. Room was clean and bedding/towels were fresh. Lovely view of Fistral Beach (room8). A short walk into town with lots of different restaurants to choose from. Didn't hear much from other guests, and overslept as bed was warm and comfy. Shower ran hot and no problems with water... We stayed in one of the two apartments. Two good sized rooms (bedroom, kitchen/lounge) and a small shower/toilet room The room was everything we needed for a weekend of surfing. No complaints about beds, was warm, good shower, everything worked. There is a bar that looked very well priced, but as we were in and out a lot of the... More

The view from the room was amazing, and the walking path at the back of the hotel takes you straight to beach. Andrew was the only member of staff we met, he was very friendly & personable & gave great advise on places we could visit. Really good value for money.

The view from our room was amazing. location great, 10min walk to fistral and 10min to harbour. we paid extra for breakfast, very good too. the guy was very kind and helpful, will defo return. the only negatives- the shower and toilet were in the bedroom ( fine for me and my husband, but maybe not for others sharing) and... Owner was very nice although a little sarcastic at times, I'm a customer after all so I found this a little off putting. Overall the place was just fine for crashing and making the most of Cornwall. Location wise, its 10 min walk to both the town centre and the beach....the hotel really couldnt be better for location. With regards... More

I am sorry if I appeared sarcastic at time. It was certainly not intentional. I will be careful. Yes , the bathroom is outdated. It is being replaced this month. Yes , parking can be a challenge at peak times , but there is a steady turnover of parked cars , and spaces become available. Out of high season ,... More

Some of the staff was everything but friendly. We came back after going out and two of us sat down outside to enjoy the sunrise while having a quiet beer and literally after 2 minutes of whispering this guy that works there came to us very nervous and shouting to us, threating to call the police, then sat down next... Longbeach is privileged to enjoy a location of great peace and spectacular views. We also have a responsibility to protect that peace for the enjoyment of all our guests and neighbours. Most of our guests are young and come to Newquay to enjoy the famous nightlife. Nearly all respect that their enjoyment should not be at the expense of others... More
