Room was cramped,. On opening the door was hit by a ghastly smell, like old drains which filtered out into corridor. Group we were with asked what dreadful smell was. The proprietor and his wife are very nice and try their best to help guests.The hotel rooms are basic in the extreme.It is winter and most of the guests were freezing for most of the week, due to heating not being on at appropriate times.The food was quite reasonable but not much of it.The rest of the staff are lovely... more
