.....from an amazing 4 day stay. From the moment we arrived we were greeted like long lost friends and felt that nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is ideally situated with Newquay town centre at the bottom of the hill and fistral beach only a 20 minute (albeit hilly) walk away. It also doesnt cater for hen/stags/large groups which... Had a three night stay here with my husband. Rooms are small slightly dated but comfy and adequate. Cleaned every day. On arrival we could smell bleach so knew it had been thoroughly cleaned. No parking on site but parking available for £10 per day in the large car park (2 min walk) or 6 per day in the small... More

My partner and I have stayed at Fairways Guest House a number of times and have always been happy whenever we have. The room we were allocated during our last stay was, although maybe a little dated, clean, very comfortable and spacious for the 2 of us sleeping there. Amenities included a modern TV/DVD player, kettle with large selection of... More

Our room was tiny...6 of us to fit in a single bed size room! The shower leaked and after one person showered the 'en-suit' was flooded so you can imagine what it was like after 6 of us! We had one tiny mirror...for 6 girls going out every night...there's not a great choice of breakfast, the pillows were thin and... More

We had a room at the top which was a little on the small side but adequate and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Owner was very welcoming and particularly attentive. Bus Station is just round the corner, house is convenient for all local amenities.

Jo & Daz were as always the most hospitable hosts, nothing was too much trouble, our room was cleaned frequently and breakfasts were so delicious with a great choice! We were recommended many local restaurants to try out in the evenings and places to visit during the day, so took the advise given as the recommendations are always accurate. Our... More

We were met with a very warm welcome from Jo. What a lovely lady! This was our second visit and would definitely go again. This time we had a bedroom on the top floor the sea view was wonderful and the bed was so comfortable. It is in a fantastic location in regards to the town centre. I think you'd... More

Sort of slightly run down, and hostel like, rather than hotel like. Super friendly staff and the most excellent breakfast in a friendly room where guests seem to talk to each other more than usual. The rooms are bright and clean, but quite small. Linen and towels were changed frequently although we only stayed for 4 nights. Very close to... More

I stick to the facts on reviews. Good location for central Newquay. No parking and difficult to find anything close. A very warm welcome from Jo. Hotel overall a bit tatty with some suspicious looking DIY. Bed was very uncomfortable. Room tiny and up several flights of stairs. It was £50 for a twin per night so not expensive. I... More
