The surfers hotel is in need of a complete revamp, this was the cheapest accommodation we could find for our 2 night stay at £20pppn you can't really complain. You get what you pay for a room with a bed and shower/toilet en-suite. Carpets were clean bed was clean. Shower was a bit temperamental. Noise pollution comes as a standard... More

I stayed here recently as part of a stag group for a weekend and to be quite honest, this place fits the bill for this sort of occasion as we basically used it for the bare essentilals such as a bed, shower and a decent breakfast. The hotel/hostel is well located within Newquay as the front is located on the main road... More

We stayed here for four nights. It's simple accommodation but very cheap. Friendly service and clean rooms. Only complaint the water pressure in the shower. The neighbours were noisy at times, but this is to be expected in this type of hotel.

Bar is good for meeting in before heading out with Pool and Snooker tables. hired surf boards and wetsuits on the saturday, nice and cheap and good fun. coming back from a... More

Stayed here with friends as our weekend base. Several rooms were booked and all totally different. We had a Seaview which was a lovely element, but otherwise the room just needed a bit of love and attention. The 24 hour bar was fabulous, loads of drink choices with glasses kept in the freezer to keep them truly chilled. As a... More

Stayed here May bh weekend for a friends birthday. The cheapest place in Newquay and right on the edge of all the nightlife. The rooms are very basic and a bit scruffy but this is reflected in the price. As for the staff they're very friendly and helpful and I can't imagine them getting verbally abusive with anyone as has... More

I stayed here with a friend in September. The rooms were very basic- only 2 beds and a bathroom with nothing else in them. The en-suite was ok but the shower was very small. It is however more than adequate for the price you pay. I have a feeling this hotel is designed as more of a 'base' than somewhere... More

Spent a couple of nights here with the wife and I can't understand what all the negative comments are about! What do you expect for 16 quid pp a night? We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the staff (and Rocky) made us feel very welcome! There's not many places where the bar stays open until you are finished with it and... More
