Hotel is in a good location for the town centre although 40 mins walk to Fistral Beach. Hotel staff are very friendly. However the hotel is very dated and our room was basic to say the least with no shower in the bathroom and a strange, maybe musty smell... I have stayed in many hotels across the uk and also mainland europe but the Sandy Lodge in Newquay is by far the best value for money.
