“Very dated but better than it looks”

visited May 2013 with Shearings. Staff friendly and food very good - plenty of choice and hot. Very dated decor but rooms clean. No lift though for whole of stay - a big disadvantage. People doing evening quizes need to ensure they have different questions and themes.

“Fanstay holiday”

It was so nice for me and my boyfriend to get our first holiday away together to some where that we have not been before and staff at the hotel was nice and friendly and very helpful to and the coach driver he was very funny we will come back soon

We were on a Shearings 3 night stay. All staff very helpful. Dining room staff very pleasant and couldn't do enough for us. 4 free drinks each per night were a bonus. Hi Thank you for your comments, I can understand that if you were in room 301, which was refurbished this winter and has amazing views, that room 39 would seem dissapointing for your parents. I wish you had told us about the uncomfortable bed, we have spare mattresses and would have been only to happy to change a poor one.... More
