We travelled as part of a turkey and tinsel break with alfa travel. The hotel has great facilities, with a large ballroom where entertainment was provided each night, a great games room including 2 pool tables, dartboard and table tennis. There are another 2 lounges as well. The staff were the friendliest i have met in a hotel and no request... more

We travelled with Alfa coach company for our short stay in Newquay. the journey down was a little long, but to be expected. Ken our lovely coach driver made up for it, he was great fun and always had loads of information for us about various things and places on the way down and in fact for the rest of... more

The hotel was basic but always clean. Rooms cleaned everyday. The food was very good, mainly homemade which makes a wonderful change. The hotel was just off the main street so walking into town was not a problem. The staff were always friendly and helpful and service in the restaurant was prompt. Being without a car was not a problem... more

Stayed here as part of a coach tour. Hotel was only 2 minutes from the beach. Room was clean and comfortable but was very warm, even for early September, and we asked for a fan to cool the place down as we could not sleep. Rooms all had Freeview TV's, kettle, hair dryer, so had everything you needed for a... more

The Elliot Hotel was clean and comfortable. There was a good choice of food and the food was as good or better than than some restaurants I have visited. The sevice was very good and the staff friendly. The evening entertainment was a bit corny but enjoyable and even though there was only a small party of people it was... more

Portions are bit small, we had to ask for extra potatoes each day .the english breakfast is very good and really sets you up for the new day.... more

We stayed at the Eliot hotel in Aug this year, on a five day holiday with Alfa Travel. We were pleasantly surprised on our arrival at the size of our room which was more than big enough for two people, the bed was comfy and the shower was lovely and hot. The food was excellent at every meal and there... more

My friend and I "both 30" stayed in the Elliot Hotel for four nights and would recommend it to anyone. Its only a 2* but its very clean, the rooms are more than adequate ,who needs a HUGE room anyway?whats the point? The entertainment wasn't to our taste its more for middle aged guests, but we didn't mind watching it because... more
