Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel in September 2007 for two night over a weekend. When we arrived the car park was tiny with little space to leave your car. We were shown to our room which was VERY old fashioned, the tv was so old and had no signal it was so poor we couldn't watch it.... more

A group of 15 of us were booked into this establishment (Hotel is too good a word) for a Stag weekend in September. I am a 58 year Lawyer and probably too old for this stuff but I went along with it. As soon as we got there we were told to pay a £20 bond per person, not something... more

Our stay at the Lowenva started on the Friday. It looked a good place for 11 lads away for a catch-up weekend. Okay rooms, okay view, bar, outdoor drinking area etc. However our welcome was not the friendliest, we had 2 pay a £20 bond each upfront (£220).
