We arrived after a long drive and were welcomed with a nice cup of tea. We were shown to our rooms with offers of help with our luggage. Our room was comfortable and spacious and had a wonderful view over Porth beach. Lisa and Andy were the perfect hosts bringing our lunch down to the poolside where we spent the... More

From the moment we arrived with a welcome cup of tea ,we knew we were going to have a lovely holiday again(we have been before ).Lisa and Andy were the perfect hosts bringing our lunches down to the pool area where we spent most mornings in the heated pool. The food in the evening was excellent with choices for main... More

Just returned home from a week long stay at the Whipsiderry Hotel. It is a lovely hotel in fabulous location overlooking Porth Bay. Andy and Lisa are the perfect proprieters and made us both very welcome from the moment we arrived, nothing is too much trouble for them or the rest of the staff. The atmosphere very friendly and relaxing... More

My husband and I went for dinner after reading positive reviews and we weren't disappointed. The hotel has a fabulous location with fantastic views and the owners Lisa and Andy made us feel very welcome. It is a lovely family run hotel that has a very extensive menu that changes on a daily basis. 6 courses for £25pp,(non-residence) and well... More

Thanks to Andy and Lisa for another perfect stay. A wonderful welcome, a lovely clean well-presented room. As always, the relaxed atmosphere makes you feel like you're at home. A wonderful breakfast and an excellent evening meal always provided. Back again next year, hopefully.

We enjoyed the location of the Whipsiderry and as others mentioned the breakfast was rather nice. However, we didn't have the luxury of a bathroom as our room had a sink in the bedroom. It looked more like a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. The wifi didn't work and to top it off we were called "the scruffy... More

I booked this hotel thinking we'd be fairly close to the beach. Whereas we had a beautiful (sort of view) of the beach, it wasn't really as close as it made it seem on the website. The beach was not a very long distance away, but it was down a great big hill, and whereas walking down there would have... More

Dear Cass & Errol. We are sorry that you misinterpreted our web site, We certainly do not "make it seem " to be in a position on the beach front, in fact we are proud to be in an elevated position which enhances our lovely panoramic views of Porth beach & Newquay. Sorry if your choice of location was not... More
