This is our second trip to the Whipsiderry and we could not recommend it highly enough. The location is very good, with easy road links to the majority of Cornwall. The hotel is family run and is very welcoming and friendly. A complimentary tea or coffee is served as soon as guests arrive and rooms are promptly made available. The... more

Myself and my fiance have stayed at the Whipsiderry year on year and this is down to the location, the hospitality and the home from home feel. The food is absolutely amazing and you are always stuck for choice when it comes to desserts! Evening is always fun by the bar and there is also the occasional badger out in... more

We have visited the Whipsiderry now for the last 5 years and try to go at least twice a year. We can't really fault it. The hospitality is second to none. The food is so delicious I know I have to prepare for compulsory dieting on return home! The Hotel is tastefully furnished and extremely comfortable. My daughter is getting... more

I spend a great deal of my time staying in hotels as part of my job and over the last few years I've stayed at all major hotel chains and various small hotels quoted in Good Guides etc throughout Great Britain. None of these comes close to offering the superb hospitality and value for money we enjoyed at The Whipsiderry.... more

This was our second visit to the Whipsiderry (first visit 2005) and we will return again! Can't recommend this hotel enough. You can be guarenteed a wonderful break here. The Whipsiderry is in an excellent location being near enough, but far enough away from Newquay centre. Whipsiderry beach is a beautiful unspoilt beach, just a short walk from the hotel... more

I lived in Newquay for 5 years from 87 - 92 and boy has it changed - I returned for the first time this year on the back of some excellent weather in August and with the purchase of a tent and a recommeded campsite off we went. The kids loved it and so did we. We noticed the changes... more

I have stay for a week in the Whipsiderry Hotel to explore the beautiful and fabulous countryside of Cornwall with his rough coast and lovely harbours. The Whipsiderry is a hotel with the warm hospitality of a B&B. After a few hours you feel yourself at home. Lisa and Andy are the young enthusiastic owners of this quiet situated hotel... more
