Single guy staying here and being in and out like a jack rabbit, super friendly staff and good rates for rooms with breakfast. I simply cannot fault them on customer service. The only negative thing I will say, is there could have been a better toilet seat( it had some slide to the side action). Overall, I'd definitely stay there... More

A very friendly welcome. Dealing with 27 guests from a different country no problem for john. Nothing to much trouble. Breakfast spot on. Will come back again. Will recommend to all. Thank you very much

What can I say? As a lone woman staying at the hotel, I felt totally safe and secure! The room was lovely. Everywhere was immaculately clean. The guest kitchen is a great idea. A great choice for breakfast. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy. I... More

We stayed here and both thought it was brilliant. Clean room, sufficient space, tea making facilities in the room and the owner was very helpful. The location is spot on. In the town but no rowdy noise from it. We would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay time and again. The owner even let us leave the car... More

5 minute walk to nightlife, great hotel for stag/hen or even couples and small groups. Hotel has pool and darts in bar and drink prices reasonable, good meeting point. Breakfast hot food is limited but plenty of it so left full and satisfied, would use again.

A very friendly and helpful greeting, we were helped up one short flite of stairs with our cases to a very clean room of which we all had a key. Teas made with coffee and tea 12 coat hangers, and 6 draws, long mirror, flat screen tv, chair and small en suite. Breakfast was self service and very well set... More

Our stay at this Hotel was just brilliant. We arrived late but it was no problem. The Man on reception was welcoming, kind, helpful, smiley, funny, really nice bloke. He knew us 4 girls were there for a night out to celebrate my birthday, he made sure we knew how to work the swipe keys properly so we had no problems when we arrived... More

My son and I stayed over the Easter holiday and were made to feel most welcome and well looked after. A family run hotel, with a good price for what you get. We will definately come back in the summer!

John welcomed us warmly and we could park with no problem within easy reach of the Hotel. It was pebble dash, large hotel type building and although money had been spent on a refurbishment, the overall feel was of a bodged hostel. I've been in better youth hostels than this. Very little atmosphere, chipped paint along skirting boards and poor... More
