We had a great time at The Cove. Emma and Andy were great hosts and our six year old was also made to feel very welcome. The house was lovely and clean and fresh with comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent and the home made cakes particularly the lemon drizzle were great. The house is in a great location with... More

Emma and Andy were so friendly and welcoming. We were visiting for a wedding and they very helpfully let us check in early to get ready. We missed homemade cake o'clock but found a couples of slices in our room later which made the perfect midnight snack! Would highly recommend.

We spent five lovely nights in the Cove Guest House in Porth and will be back on our next visit to the Newquay area. The whole guest house has been refurbished to very good standards quite recently and is very inviting. The rooms are well appointed, the beds very comfortable, the bathroom spotless though the shower was perhaps slightly on... More

We enjoyed our stay very much at The Cove Guest House. Watching the February weather across to Porth beach from the warmth of the cosy breakfast room, was wonderful. Loved the tub chairs in front of the fireplace. Will definitely be back.

Great stay at the Cove yesterday. The room was newly decorated and very comfortable. Pack your running shoes for a quick jog or walk around the iron age fort to work up an appetite before the tasty full Cornish breakfast. Great place.

Stayed for a night whilst visiting Newquay in December 2014. I can only agree with the positive reviews from other guests. Warm welcome, comfy bed and room. Lovely views across the bay and out to sea. Breakfast was exceptional all served next to a roaring log fire. We shall certainly return.

Our hosts were friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Andy had an interesting film of the local blowhole showing at breakfast. The food was delicious, including the special afternoon cakes. Accommodation was very comfortable with elegant touches and a fantastic view and in a great location. We were visiting from Canada, it was a delightful experience! If we... More
