Last weekend my wife and I, as well as over a dozen of our friends, enjoyed a tinsel and turkey break here. We have been on six or seven of these themed weekends and of those the following comments could ONLY apply to the Edgcumbe hotel. My room was very clean and comfortable. The heating was ON (rare elsewhere). The... More

We have been in loads of hotels on short break coach holidays over the years but this is the worse one yet! There were 30 people on the coach and not one of them would return so that says it all. From dirty, very badly stained and torn curtains (the torn ones were replaced by still dirty ones when they overheard... More

We stayed at this hotel as it was dog friendly and, from the website, seemed okay. On arrival in our room we wished we could turn around and leave. The room was just big enough for the two twin beds, none of the furniture matched and all looked like it had come from a junk shop, the springs in the... More

Having stayed at this hotel at least 6 times, i find it really hard to understand the negative comments!! On both occasions, myself and friends were made to feel really welcome from start to finish, with all the staff being very pleasant and helpful. My room was a good size with great views over the beach, always nice to come... More

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect very central. The hotel offered car parking for a charge of £10 for two nights. The overall hotel is dated and needs revamping however is perfectly acceptable. The rooms could do with a better clean... The sinks and bathrooms.. Also negative point the beds! They are not comfortable.... Very... More
