Very nice, quiet hotel situated close to the seafront and a short walk in to Newquay, also plenty to explore in the surrounding area. Pretty location overlooking the beach and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast also very nice and able to eat it overlooking the beach in the conservatory area. What makes this hotel special is the friendliness... More

Just returned after a groupon deal "1 night for two with breakfast and afternoon tea"! On arrival we were welcomed by a friendly member of staff whom after completing the paperwork pointed out the bar area and then lead us to the dining room. He continued to explain that breakfast would be served here in the morning and we were... More

Our third visit to Windward. On each occasion we were met with a very warm welcome and each time the hospitality was excellent. There was a good choice for breakfast and the breakfast room has fantastic views across Porth beach towards Newquay. Our twin bedded room was at the back and quite and one of the first beds that I've... More

"Just the relaxing break we needed." The views and walks are outstanding. Both Sue, the owner, and David, the Manager, were most polite and very helpful at all times. Excellent value on our two night stay using a Groupon voucher. Good breakfast to start the day so Highly recommended.

Had a great break away at this lovely little hotel. Sue, the owner and David the manager are helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfasts and appreciated the veggie sausages, as so many places just omit the meat for veggie breakfasts. Found the room a little noisy, but there is not a lot they can do about that. Spotlessly clean and wonderful... More

Clean, warm, welcoming and great views. A slight bit out of the way if you wanted to go to a nice restaurant and drink as it's very hilly to walk. Due to the weather and the time of year, the coastal walkways were a bit muddy, wellingtons needed. Rooms slightly outdated but clean and walls were thin as you could... More

I, too used a groupon voucher for 2nights here, and after a lengthy phone conversation (required for booking) with Sue, I wasn't disappointed. I didn't up grade as only needed a bed and somewhere to freshen up form a couple of days sight seeing. I was informed the afternoon tea was biscuits unless preorder cream tea at £3.50 each. David...
