Breakfast was quick and hot with nice fruit juices and a pot of tea/coffee, attentive waiter. Shower was good and there were nice biscuits and tv in the room. Room was spotless and the bed was... Ideally positioned overlooking Porth Beach. Not a lot else ther but bus stops just down the hill for Newquay or Padstow. Owner Sue always very helpful. Good choice for breakfast Fruit, full English, fish and continental. No full service restaurant but a choice of bar meals in the evening

This hotel is clean and tidy but the walls in the rooms must be paper based as you can hear everything and when you have a couple coughing and chatting at 3 in the morning when you're on business, it's not the best. Breakfast only started at 8.30 and as I was leaving at 7.45 it was a let down.... More

This is a very comfortable hotel in a superb location, stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute. The hotel is scrupulously clean throughout and our room had a large balcony with an exceptional view out over the bay. Breakfasts were prepared to an excellent standard and served in a lovely conservatory room. Having gotten the basics out of the... More

Good communications when making the resetvation. We arrived early afternoon before 3pm. We were shown to our room which was a double and overlooked the car park. The room was small but had everything we required for a 3 night stay. It was very clean and the bed was comfy, plenty of tea and coffee and nice biscuits. Very clean... More

The location was perfect for a quiet break. 2 mins from the beach, the restaurant overlooking the sea. We stayed in a double room overlooking the parking which was very small, but generally clean. Tea/coffee provided. The breakfast was a mixture of cereal/jam buffet and a'la carte hot menu, well cooked and very tasty. Its half an hour walk away... More

We arrived at the Windward at 1400 on 19 Aug 15. We were met by Tara the Manageress who was pleasantness itself. She welcomed us and showed us to our room (3) on the first floor. This overlooked a caravan site at the back of the hotel. The hotel is well situated and easily accessible but a bit remote. Our... More
