We booked the 3 night accommodation/dining break through Travelzoo and stayed in the hotel itself rather than the Coach House. The room was spacious enough, the bathroom excellent having a large separate shower enclosure as well as a bath. Unlike a previous poster the windows did open but the one drawback was the television. We stayed at WGB hotel on the dining deal which I thought was good value. We could only get a standard room in the main hotel which faced the back. We spent a very happy bank holiday weekend at the Watergate Bay hotel. It's a very convenient 5 minute drive from Newquay airport (but you don't hear aircraft).
