stayed here on a National Coach holiday, supporting a guy with learning disabilities, though the staff were excellent and the food was good, and our fellow travellers were a great bunch of people the hotel is very tired and needs a total refurb. I paid a supplement for a single room and was appalled at the quality of the room,... more

We were fortunate to have a side room ( with sea view) ,some of our party, with rooms at the front of the hotel, found them rather noisy with passing revellers at night. Our room was clean and the beds and linen were spotlessly clean - and we both commented on the comfort of both bed and pillows.Towels were changed... more

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a National Holidays trip to the Eden Project. To be fair we were not expecting a fantastic hotel as the total trip cost was excellent value. However the dinner food quality exceeded our expectations and the staff would go out of their way to provide you with any variation you wanted... more

This hotel is almost redeemed by the smiling, helpful staff. My single room was clean but in need of a re vamp, wallpaper and lighting very dated. Towels and bedding clean but room needs somewhere to dry the thin towels after use otherwise they can only be used once. The food is very bland despite the 'sauces' with some of... more

Having just returned home from our second visit to the Narrowcliff Hotel our party of almost 100 guests had nothing but praise for the hotel, accommodation, meals, bar and entertainment. The staff were always helpful, friendly and smiling when ever you spoke to them. Nothing was too much trouble from the manager downwards. Everyone played their part to ensure that... more

Having read other reviews on this hotel wondered what to expect. We stayed at this hotel as part of a NATIONAL EXPRESS long weekend break. For the price we paid could not expect anything better. Staff very helpful and efficient, food good enough for us not to want to eat out. Rooms on the small side but clean and comfortable.... more

Stayed at this hotel for a week mainly due to the hotel being able to accomodate my elderly mothers need for a lift combined with a single sea view room I must admit i did after reading the reviews on here have a few fears as to what i would find. Upon arrival at reception was met by a man... more

We selected this hotel as part of a Golfing weekend for a party of five. Hotel staff appeared uninterested in providing any customer service apart from one Receptionist. Night Porter was particularly unhelpful when attempting to assist one of our party with unacceptable behaviour from a neighbouring room. Standard of food was extremely poor, unidentifiable and tasteless. Rooms were in... more
