We needed accommodation close to Newquay airport as we were catching the first flight of the day and had to check in at 07:30. I booked my stay through Booking .com .I usually have tripadvisor open at the same time so I can check the hotel as I book it.This is the first time I have found the tripadvisor reports... More

We stayed one night at the smugglers, a reunion do. We usually always hand pick our accommodation with luxury being very important thing for us, for a treat. We new we wouldn't have luxury and we were just looking forward to meeting some old friends. We had quite a small room, but the view, the level of cleanliness, the standard... More

This is my second review for the Smugglers Inn since my birthday last year. The owners have done an absolutely fantastic job in turning the place around. They have put in a huge effort in decoration and it looks so homely and comfortable. I spoke to the Chef - Ann a week before my Birthday party to see if she... More

Well what can we say? Thank you very much indeed for your review, after the last one from a guest house just down the road which I believe was designed to do damage to our business it has renewed our faith in trip advisor somewhat. We look forward to welcoming you again when you are down this way next, and... More

Although it is called the Airport Hotel I saw a sign saying ‘Smugglers Inn’, so taking it for a pub called in for an early drink. Therefore this review and rating is solely on the place as a pub and not a hotel or restaurant. The bar is a bit tired, and neither a pub nor a comfortable hotel bar... More

Very many thanks for taking the time to write your review. I am pleased to say that already we have started to brighten the downstairs areas up. As we have only recently taken over what was a very run down and very sad building and business, we are in the process of on going refurbishments, doing the worst bits first,... More

We were made to feel very welcome when we visited the Smugglers Inn whilst staying at nearby Watergate Bay; in fact we enjoyed the food so much that we returned 4 times during our holiday and have to say we were very impressed with the quality of good home cooked food at very reasonable prices, in particular the 'Friday Night... Just by the airport, the smugglers inn provides a good pub lunch/evening meal. Prices are good and the welcome warm. Nice menu with specials board using mainly local ingredients where possible. Good selection of real ales to try.
