We only had one night here while visiting a cousin in Padstow but we will certainly be back. Very welcoming, clean, comfortable and relaxing. The bed was super-comfy, extra tea/coffee etc. was available on request had we needed it, the bottled water supplied in our room was much appreciated - we invariably have to bring our own - and the... We stayed at the smugglers for one Friday night. Nice hotel with excellent hosts, The room was very cozy and the bed comfy. The breakfast was very good as was their evening meal. The airport is only 3 to 4 minutes walk away but be careful there's no footpath path so you have to walk on the road or the... More

We stopped for 1 night in October on route to Mexico from Newquay and also used the parking facility for 10 nights. Great host and staff, never tried the food but looked fantastic great beer. Made very welcome by the staff and customers and a great nights sleep in very comfy rooms

No complaints, it is less than a week since we were there, and our memories are still good, nothing was too much trouble, bedroom, breakfast and staff were very very good, can't wait to come back in the near future

A very pleasant overnight stay in a warm and comfy room with the added bonus of an excellent dinner. Staff friendly and welcoming and they went out of their way to provide a heated pad for my poor old back strain at bedtime. Full marks from me :)

Owners were helpful and chatty and the hotel couldn't be more convenient for the airport but the bedrooms are dated, tired and cold and breakfast was cheap bread toast and cereal (awkwardly waited for cooked breakfast menu which never arrived). At £80 a room it should be much much better.

Firstly I note that the Smugglers Inn has two entries – one under ‘Smugglers Inn at the Airport Hotel’, and the other simply under ‘The Smugglers Inn’. As reviews covering accommodation, restaurant and the bar/pub appear under both then it would be best if they were combined (particularly as many reviews under Smugglers Inn refer to the accommodation and vice... Breakfast was nice. They do nice little individual coffee french press' per person. But the staff were rude when we were looking at their lovely flowers and when it came to pay he charged the baby £2.50 for eating off her mother's plate-no extra food was even made! When we contested this, we had a rude reply of "I don't... More

Cosy atmosphere in this small hotel, nice bar with the feel of being in your mammy's front room. Early breakfast catered for travellers catching flights in nearby airport, but last breakfast is at 8.45, a little early for us holiday makers. Gay friendly.
