We have stayed first time in this hostel. The location - perfect, considering is literally next to the beach. The room - decent size room, quite clean, clean sheets and comfortable bed. However, were disappointed with the sink and cold water flow as the water was splashing all over the place. Did not have an opportunity to use the shower.... More

We spent an awesome night at St Christopher's Inn backpackers. Room was clean and neat. Amazing view of the beach! Surf school next door. Food was amazing. Excellent value for money! Highly recommended!

I've staying in a number of hostels in over 30 countries and this would have to be at the bottom of my list. The bathroom door was broken, the toilet door didn't shut and the bedroom door didn't lock. Situated above a pub cause some disruption but nothing more then any other hostel. The hotel staff were lovely and helpful.... More

Stayed for 1 night in low season, so hostel was quiet. Good breakfast and food at the pub downstairs. Surf school attached and great spot for surfing! Maintenance was being carried on but I suppose this is necessary as it is low season, manager was also very forthcoming about it since we arrived and booked the place in the last... More

Only stay here if you hate yourself or are into weird social experiments that involve no sleep, dreadfully loud music and the smell of sewage. I stayed here for 5 nights from Wednesday - Monday and was staying in a 6 bedroom dorm on the first floor with some friends, we were visiting Newquay for a festival. I was aware... More

Right, after reading reviews for here I was rather worried, but I was pleasantly surprised. Yes it probably gets noisey at weekend so don't stay there. We had double en suite room very basic but did the job. Yes I could here music and people having fun, so what like I said don't stay. The view is amazing from the... More

I stayed here on a recent surfing trip to Newquay. St Christopher's Inn is above a Belushi's (I'll get back to this) and is linked to Escape Surf School (it's next door, pretty much the same building), so I thought that the convenience of staying at St Christopher's Inn would be ideal. However, I stayed for 4 nights and I... More

Such a busy and exciting place, wonderful atmosphere, there's always people around. Great for travelling, meeting like-minded individuals and getting advice on the best place to go. Wonderful view to wake up to, and very soothing to fall, asleep to the sound of the waves.

Me and my partner stayed in a double en-suite private. There was some kind of dried sick or mild on the bottom of the shower curtain. The bathroom itself looked like it had a lot of DIY done to it lol. The shower was annoying as it kept turning off, not easy to turn back on when washing your face.... More

After the long drive and listening to the stories of Newquay's party culture was a little worried when the sat-nav directed to Bellushi's in the heart of the town. Outside was signs advertising Happy Hour and other drink related offers. But this was the place and we were directed to our room on the top floor. We opened the door... More
