I stayed here on a recent surfing trip to Newquay. St Christopher's Inn is above a Belushi's (I'll get back to this) and is linked to Escape Surf School (it's next door, pretty much the same building), so I thought that the convenience of staying at St Christopher's Inn would be ideal. However, I stayed for 4 nights and I... More

Such a busy and exciting place, wonderful atmosphere, there's always people around. Great for travelling, meeting like-minded individuals and getting advice on the best place to go. Wonderful view to wake up to, and very soothing to fall, asleep to the sound of the waves.

Me and my partner stayed in a double en-suite private. There was some kind of dried sick or mild on the bottom of the shower curtain. The bathroom itself looked like it had a lot of DIY done to it lol. The shower was annoying as it kept turning off, not easy to turn back on when washing your face.... More

After the long drive and listening to the stories of Newquay's party culture was a little worried when the sat-nav directed to Bellushi's in the heart of the town. Outside was signs advertising Happy Hour and other drink related offers. But this was the place and we were directed to our room on the top floor. We opened the door... More

We just got back from a great 2 night stay at Newquay. The rooms are basic hostel quality but the view is fantastic, overlooking Towan Bay. Surf school on-site with a central town location. Our room was a two person, double bed private with ensuite. The toilet/shower is very compact but functional. The room was clean, had tea/coffee making facilities... More

Stayed here 2 nights whilst travelling round Devon and Cornwall. It is hostel accommodation and budget priced to suit backpacker/surfer clientel with an amazing view over Towan Beach. As seasoned senior world travellers we really enjoyed our two nights. We had a double room with ensuite on the top floor (be prepared for 3 flights of stairs) but the view... More

Poorly managed, unclean and overpriced. My 3 companions and I have stayed in many hostels all over the world and have agreed this was the worst room we have ever stayed in. The smell of sewage was overwhelming and rendered the bathroom, whose door didn't close properly, unusuable. Merciful seep came thanks to moderately comfortable mattresses, noise cancelling headphones, a... More

Not one of the locks work for either the front door or bedroom , the resulted in a man entering my room ( I am 23 year old girl ) and throwing up , it smells terrible , the rooms are like saunas and the noise from down stairs makes it impossible to sleep , it's dirty and the rooms... More

Where to begin? The rooms smelt oddly of sewerage - not overpowering, just a disconcerting whiff of nastiness. The bunk beds were so low you couldn't sit up in them if you got the bottom bunk. Mine had added pubic hair from someone else! I tried to make the best of it because a friend had gone to the trouble... More
