Went down to Newquay recently with colleagues from work for a general drink fuelled weekend. The staff were friendly and rooms were clean, and for the 2 nights that we stayed there there was no problems when it came to coming in late after drinking all evening and into the morning. Breakfast was fine, slightly smaller than we would've wanted... More

Stayed at the Cliffdene with my wife and baby. We had a family room (no.40). When we first checked in the room looked dated but ok for 1 night with plenty of room for our travel cot which was good. However, it was the worst nights sleep we have ever had as the bed was awful!!! Half way through the... More

Great hotel, excellent location with beach directly opposite and short walk into Newquay town. Free parking too which was an added bonus and great value for money. We had a great stay, room was comfortable and cleaned daily with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was good with cereals and full English available, staff extremely friendly and... More

We've just got back from a four night stay here. The hotel was in a great location, right opposite the beach. The room was simple and basic but what else do you need because you're hardly in there. Room tidied everyday. Breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly. We would stay here again. Thanks for a lovely week :-)

Great view from room 9 we stayed Mond-Frid. Excellent location 5 min walk to main town across the road from a lovely beach. Breakfast was lovely. Room cleaned every day. Staff very helpful & friendly. Entertainment every night which was very good. Could do with an update but very reasonably priced

Never been to Newquay before, the hotels view from the reception have you a perfect panoramic view of the coast! The staff were lovely, and nothing was too much trouble! Breakfast was ok, the rooms were clean and the beds sooooo comfortable with two pillows each!Definitely would stay there again!!

the menu was the same every other day, boiled potatoes every night, the windows were filthy all over the hotel..Rooms small.. The carpets were slack, easy to catch your foot in.. The hotel needs some money spent on it, it needs a good overhaul badly..

The location of the hotel is amazing, just opposite the beach. Condition of the hotel rooms are ok for the value. Breakfast does not have many options. Shower was broken on the day of our arrival, which was repaired the next day, the service of which was appreciative.

It's a wonderful place to stay in Newquay. I stayed in this hotel with my wife. We were there for three nights and wanted to go back again. Free parking is an advantage. Friday night was bit noisy... this was my only concern. No big deal...
