The location is great , town is just a few minute walk. The bar was a bit busy on our Saturday night for a while but that's expected in Newquay and it had all gone quiet again by half 10. Staff were amazing. One girl checked us in and was on the bar , she was lovely and was really... More

This hostel was booked by my fiancé for our anniversary. . Because we were about to embark on an 8 months tour of Asia and wanted to save money on hotels but still celebrate six years together. The people were very friendly and showed us to our room with a smile. We were told where to find things and informed... More

I have never suffered such a disgraceful nights sleep in my entire life. Came here after having a wonderful time at a hotel in cornwall which unfortunately could not be booked for another night at short notice, so this was the only option for myself and my relative. The room was very basic with no storage, towels and only one... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in a private room for 2 nights, the location is ok, close enough to Newquay, but not near the centre of town. There is no parking, however the car park across the road costs only £7.50 for 24 hours. The rooms were clean and neat but the walls paper thin. There was breakfast, but it... More

As a group of lads in our 20s/30s on a stag weekend, we couldn't have asked for much more given the price. We had booked our stay here as part of a coasteering package with Vertical Descents (who were equally as good! Highly recommended!) The rooms are very basic consisting of bunk beds and en-suite shower room but generally clean.... More

Thanks for your awesome review, we enjoyed having you stay at MOR Lodge and hope you had a great time coasteering with VD. All of our rooms are en-suite, which is an added bonus, we also have spare bathrooms for those wanting a bath rather than a shower. We are continually investing in new bunks and beds, extra pillows and... More

This place was very cheerful, if a little basic. We spent one night here in a twin room. The room was far too small for us, as was the tiny shower cubicle. The place wasn't as clean as I'd have liked, and it became extremely noisy in the late evening. In summary; there is no parking facilities for MOR. Our... More

Stayed for one night, and I'm glad it was only one. Cheap, basic accommodation, with no frills breakfast. Woken at 430am by drunk resident trying to get into the "lodge", then attempting to get into my room. Not good. Staff pleasant enough, but I shall not be returning.

Thanks for staying and for reviewing us, we appreciate all feedback. We pride ourselves in offering cheap, basic accommodation and provide a light continental breakfast which is complimentary with the stay. Since this year, we have now also invested in a lovely self catering kitchen, so that guests may bring and cook their own food too. Being just 5 minutes... More

Me and a group of friends visited this hostel for a three night stay in the middle of July for a little weekend away. On arrival we were greeted by Aisling who was extremely helpful and very friendly throughout our whole stay. The whole hostel including the rooms were clean and tidy. Thanks for staying and writing us a review, we are really pleased to hear that you had a good three nights stay at MOR.
