After reading the reviews expected this b&b to be pretty good and was very disappointed. Turned up a Friday evening as as group of 3 competing at a sports event over the weekend after giving a name to Julie she shouted Brian and went back to the kitchen without another word. Escorted up to our room, which was the best... More

We booked the family room which is a loft conversion at the top of the house. The room had direct views of the sea and Newquay Harbour from the roof window, which was lovely. Excellent location with shops and beach a stones throw away. The owners are Brian and Julie, and we found Brian to be very friendly and welcoming.... More

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding nearby. Although the views were stunning across the bay, the room was extremely small with no ensuite and the kettle was filled with yellow liquid... The owners were very pleasant and after reading the other reviews I believe our bad experience must be one seldom had. However, for... More

I turned up late in the afternoon, with no booking. A room was made available with brilliant views over the harbour and beach. Very reasonable room price. A good breakfast. I will certainly try this place again when next in Newquay. Excellent if you want to be near the beach or harbour, large supermarket close by. Thank you.

In category Bed & Breakfast, Seashells is a very good place to stay. Owner Brian and his wife are nice and helpful. Bed is good and room is extremely clean. Location close to ocean and Newquay Centre.

Enjoyed our break at Seashells, very central with beautiful views. Brian and Julie were both very welcoming and every morning we were served a delicious full English breakfast. The bedroom and bathroom were both decorated well, very clean plus a great comfy bed. If holidaying in Newquay we would certainly recommend staying at Seashells.
