First of all, I cannot believe the most recent review for this hotel placed by Frank a few days ago after staying on a business trip way back in June. Why has he waited so long to place such adverse and negative comments on Trip Advisor. I think it must be said that if you want five star, go and... More

One of the most disgusting hotels I have ever set foot in. As soon as one goes in there is an unpleasant smell which is noticeable throughout the building, including the bedrooms, but apart from, fortunately, the restaurant. With space for about 150 guests, the one lift is totally inadequate. My room was not at all pleasant and the state... More

We decided very late on to take a short sojourn to Cornwall at autumn half term. After some research on Trip Advisor, I found this hotel. As described it needs a bit of TLC, the staff are great and will do what they can. I ordered several different combinations of breakfasts and they didn't mind. Swimming pool was fine, as... More

A very comfortable hotel with good public rooms and a well stocked bar. The bed was comfortable and the room clean and welcoming as was the bathroom. The food was generally well presented. If I could fault anything it was the small amount of tea, coffee etc in the bedroom as there was only sufficient to make 2 cups of... More

Where to begin. This hotel is very dated and seriously needs some tlc. The bedroom walls are so thin that we could hear everything that was going on in our neighbours room. The bathroom was small with barely any water coming from the tap. Old box tv with the 5 basic channels. Uncomfortable beds. The cutlery was rusty!

The outside looked tired and scruffy as did the main areas and bedroom. The staff were lovely. The room was tired with a piece of coving being held up by the curtain rail. The hot water took ages to come. We slept well and had a nice breakfast. Even though the hotel was tired it offered reasonable value

Uncomfortable beds. No room Wifi. Cheap breakfast. Friendly staff. No air con. 10 minute walk from the beach. On the coast with great views. It's used for accommodating stag parties and can have up to 15 at any one time. Be warned.

Initially hotel had a modern feel in the foyer, travelling further into the hotel the décor was dated, the carpets poorly fitted, on the ground floor there is a pipe cover that is not fixed in place and fell off each time we passed it. The hotel was very clean, there was no wifi available in the rooms, the Television... More
