I'd been to this hotel before on business and wanted take the wife back as I'd been impressed. In the nicest possible way it's like taking a step back in time, I can imagine it being virtually the same many years ago. The room maids even wear the classic black and white uniforms. We booked a sea view which I... More

First impressions count and the exterior of the hotel does not do the interior justice, extreemly clean with large airy bedrooms, excellent WIFI. Good selection of resturaunts within 5 minutes walk. Hotel staff very freindly.

Stayed here for a week through work, rooms are nice and big, well cleaned. I stayed on the third floor the shower had no pressure so stuck to having a bath. Staff are excellent very polite and good service never let your drink run dry and the food is good and cheap but still good quality. Would stay again.

Our second stay at this hotel.Staff very helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome. Hotel room was lovely overlooking the sea. We were given the key to another room in case we found room too noisy because of the bad weather. Breakfast menu had lots of choice and cooked fresh as you ordered it. Three course dinner was excellent such... More

Stayed in the hotel during one of the many winter storms. We were upgraded to a room facing out over the bay - the receptionist told us this was because our original room could be very noisy when it was windy. We were really pleased - the room was huge and gave us a lovely view! The hotel in general... More

Sunday 26th January our Twinning Committee organised our yearly lunch at the Hotel Bristol. I had never been to this hotel before and was unsure of what to expect and taking a party of 21 was a little worrying. We enjoyed a great lunch served by polite, attentive and very skilled staff, our greeting at the entrance was very smooth... More

I was here for a work conference, can't really fault it. The conference room was great, plenty of water & sweets!! The food was wonderful, the staff great, hardly noticed them!! The room was lovely BUT I had no radiators over night as they were broke, so it was chilly but they brought me a heater. To be honest it... More

I stayed here for 1 night as I had a meeting booked here the following morning. The hotel staff were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. Dinner and breakfast was good and the small attention to detail really paid off - the milk served with coffee was brought to me having been heated for example. The rooms here are... More
