We have just come back and had a great time, the staff bent over backwards to help us as we had problems with our car when we arrived. They tried to help as much as they could and nothing was a problem. They always had a smile on there face and for Easter Sunday put an egg hunt on for... More

This was our second visit to the Hotel Victoria, after spending an enjoyable weekend last October, we decided to spend an extended stay for 8 nights this April. The Victoria has massive potential to be the best hotel in Newquay, and with the on going improvements by management could easily achieve a 5 star rating in the eyes of the... More

This is my forth visit in as many years, as always I found all the staff to be very friendly, polite and helpful. Arrived on Saturday 5th April (stayed for 7 days), I was very happy with my room. I had booked a single room but they gave me a double (room 202). The room was cleaned to a very... More

Lovely stay...grand interior in main hotel..room was small and slightly dated...food was nice..only let down was Jacuzzi wasn't working or the sun showers...and seeing as they are still being advertised on hotel website we were disappointed when we were told they hadn't been working for months...hotel staff friendly and helpful, would possibly stay again if in the area

We arrived late in the evening and were well looked after and given a full verbal guide of the hotel. The rooms are adequate and you have tea making facilities, friendly staff all round food of a good standard and the Mexican restaurant that is a partner to the hotel gives a 10% discount to residents there is also an... Disappointing, the only reason I rated it as average was the staff were helpful. It is definitely a 3 star I booked three rooms two double and a family room. I will start with the positives: the breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, I think it was Fred but he went over and above to... More

We have just spent a great 10 days at this Hotel. She is a bit tired round the edges, but the staff are great, make you feel right at home and more than make up for threadbare carpets. I believe the current management haven't been in place for long and seem to be on top of the shortcomings! Bedrooms are... More

I have just come back from a two-night stay at the hotel Victoria. My feedback is: What a stunning building! It is an edifice of late Victorian splendour. Huge stairs, wood panelling, spectacular ceiling heights. If you like old buildings then this is a great place to stay. I stayed in a standard double (Room 108) and felt that it... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. It is in a great location, well priced and with the added bonus of available parking. Our room was small and a bit tired looking but suited us ok. We had views of the town and side views of the sea. I think the sea view rooms would be better as the... More
