We stayed here with a group of friends over the weekend and had a lovely time. The hotel is a wonderful old building and inside it is a calm, comfortabe and relaxing place to spend a few days. Our room (Coastal View) was very nice with an extremely comfortable bed and a great view of the sea (rm 212). On... More

This was the first time we had stayed at the Headland Hotel and we would certainly do so again. The standard of accommodation (we stayed in a Fistral Bay Suite) was excellent and we really appreciated that dogs were not just tolerated but welcomed. What really stood out was the quality of service - staff were, without exception, friendly and... More

We have been before. Rarely can you say a place has got better, on all fronts. This time we stayed in a one bed cottage. Well kept, well serviced and comfortable. Nice views of the beach too. We used the hotel terrace alot - best spot to see the world go by and endulge in the many culinary and liquid... More

We had a three night stay in this wonderful hotel. We were lucky as the weather was wonderful and we were able to sit on the terrace overlooking Fistral beach in lovely sunshine. The bedroom was updated and had excellent facilities. We had dinner each night and the food was superb. Service great as well, if a tad slow, but... More

Just returned from a 2 night stay at Headland... Stayed in an ocean room which was slightly smaller than I had thought however perfectly cosey and comfortable! Views from our window were beautiful and it's such a peaceful location. Breakfast was excellent both mornings We ate in the restaurant one of the evenings and they happily changed the menu around... A very pleasant stay in this Edwardian classical hotel. Spacious rooms. Good staff service. Quality food in the restaurant with well balanced menu. The whole ambiance of this hotel from its decor, situation and facilities makes for an enjoyable stay. I will definitely return.

We stayed in the cottages linked to this hotel and were able to use the facilities so can't comment on the rooms but the cottages are lovely. Food was good, staff very friendly and loads of places to just chill and enjoy the ambience. Especially liked the squashy sofas and chairs on the outdoor terrace.

We only stayed one night which wasn't enough to really appreciate the hotel. Weve been before but stayed in one of the cottages and the atmosphere is always relaxed and welcoming. Love the decor and the location is wonderful.

We were a family of four, with two teenagers, staying in one of the cottages for five nights leading to August bank holiday. The cottage was beautifully presented and very well equipped with just about anything you would need, allowing you to prepare qute elaborate meals if you wanted to. Both bedrooms were en-suite and had a luxurious feel. An... More

We stayed here for a weekend recently. This is a beautiful hotel with amazing sea views. The room was modern clean and spacious and the hotel itself was perfectly positioned right on the sea next to Fistral beach. The big disapointment to me was the service in the restaurant. The gentleman in charge (may have been a Maitre D) was... More
