We booked this hotel for one night whilst waiting for our rental to begin in St Ives. And it turned out to be much better than we'd hoped so we returned at the end of our holiday for 2 more nights. It's not all great but overall it is very good. The downsides are there are some really miserable staff.... More

Firstly I cannot comment on standard of rooms as we only went to The Headland for drinks and to look into booking for a week in Autumn. I quite liked the old fashioned internal decor and the hotel clearly has a fantastic coastal position, the staff we encountered at reception and the bar were friendly and efficient. I also appreciated... More

We stayed at the Headland for 2 nights (traveling with two children 6 and 10) in the family suite that worked out great for us. Our room was fair size with very comfortable bed, good quality sheets, great view and very quiet. We all slept great. Separate bedroom for the kids with bunk beds and their own TV and Cadbury... Popped in on a sunny, blustery day for a spot of lunch and ended up loafing around for most of the day. Crab sandwiches on the terrace were superb and the young man who waited on us could not have been more charming or attentive. I went of for a surf lesson- also fantastic, so the rest of the family... We stayed at the Headlands hotel for 2 nights and had one of the Atlantic rooms. The views were obviously stunning and loved watching the surfers doing there stuff at all hours. Great entertainment. The room was light and airy and the bed was 100% comfy. The bathroom was fab and did the stuff. We didn't have dinner at the... More

We first stayed at the Headland hotel 35 years ago with out young family and kept returning. This year we took a selection of grandchildren and they loved it just as much. The hotel itself is excellent but the cottages are even better for a stay with young children. The swimming pools are brilliant and I'm sure our crew have... More

Lovely setting for a family 'bucket and spade holiday'. We stayed in the cottages which are really great. Walk to beach, outside heated pool, indoor pool and hotel. Daily entertainment for children if wanted

Don't look anywhere else, this is a great hotel with fantastic staff. Rooms are good and clean, stunning views. Main restaurant is excellent. Great Spa area and facilities. I`ve tried other hotels near by, and this is the best. Thank you especially the Reception staff. Surf hire on site. See you soon.
