Situated in a peaceful surroundings, and first impressions were good. However, cottages rather dated and furniture/appliances in need of upgrading. Cottage layout was great, with bedrooms/bathrooms downstairs and living area upstairs, with small balcony, though this was very dark, quite dirty and flooded when it rained. Restaurant onsite still closed and looking rather derelict, which is such a shame as it... More

Such a shame. No doubt at one time this was a top quality site but it is now uncared for as are its visitors. The restaurant which according to the website was due to open in April is apparently closed permanently (a fact that was not disclosed until after the balance was paid) On the plus side the swimming pool... Okay, so you can't expect sunshine in February. But we were looking forward to going to the resort. Now there's a word. In my mind resort (holiday resort) I think of a relaxing, happy place within close proximity of a beach(maybe a mile or so away). That offers some facilities on site such as somewhere to eat, maybe entertainment even... More

We exchanged our time share with Dial an Exchange as we wanted to explore the Cornish country side with our 2 children. We came open minded ready to unwind to find our accommodation no 8, was very small , our double room had a foot either side of the bed making it difficult to get in and out of ,... More

The guest in question booked his holiday with Carvynick Country Cottages through Dial and Exchange. Before he officially made the booking he called Carvynick as he had a few questions and queries that he wished to be answered regarding the golf course as he said he was a keen golfer. Two days before his arrival I received a call from... More

Myself and my friends visited off season in Nov 14. Whilst the weather was cold we had the whole resort to ourselves which was great! The pool, hot tub and sauna were an extra £5 charge each but given we had it to ourselves we weren't complaining! We used the pool, sauna and hot tub and must say we thoroughly... More

We had a very enjoyable 5 nights at this site. I would have easily given it a 5 rating if the restaurant and bar had been open as it has very good reviews, but I think its closed long term. We had a fantastic pitch the view was fantastic. This site is easily assessable for large motor homes and at... More

Close to many holiday resorts and beaches in a quiet countryside setting. Nice heated indoor swimming pool (bit steep gradient for non swimmers), with adjacent paddling pool. Disappointing that hot tub, sauna, steam room and solarium all required extra £5 payment per day as well as £5 extra for utilities. Badminton court and 5 hole golf course were also nice... More

We stayed at this site for 3 evenings and loved it! We stayed in our motorhome and they had all the facilities right on your stand that you need to run motorhome. Lovely and clean indoor pool, games and a stunning hot tube. If I was to critique it would just be that there isn't any disabled facilities.

We booked a Groupon, so the value for money was excellent. I received an email confirmation for this booking with a leaflet attached, stating that you HAD to check in by 7pm in the evening, or you wouldn't be allowed access until 9am the next day. This seemed harsh, I queried it and they did confirm that you could organise... More

Carvynick cottages were in a lovely location, the site was lovely. The cottage was clean and I was impressed with the facilities on site, particularly the swimming pool which I went in most days at about 5pm and most of the time had it to myself. It was a great location between Newquay and not far from St Austell. Unfortunately... More
