Booked a twin room for a 4 day stay, room was very clean and well presented. When we arrived the receptionist was very polite and helpful made us feel very welcome. The hotel is in very good location with local amenities close at hand I would guess in high season the car park would get full quick. The Bar and restaurant... More

Myself and Bevvie (my good lady), attended this establishment one evening. Friendly and welcoming staff showed us to a table and took our drinks order whilst explaining the menu and 'specials board'. Quite a comprehensive choice was offered, we both decided upon the Gammon (10oz). We were not disappointed !!!. The gammon was cooked to perfection, lovely fresh tomatoes and... More

Just had four fantastic nights, we where met by Nigel for our check in, who couldn't do enough for us. The room was very pleasant and clean with a view of the sea and the food was out of this world, from carvery to main menu. Would highly recommend the Duck marinaded in soy & honey and the Belly Pork... More

From the moment we arrived we had the most warmest welcome from Nigel the manager and felt very at home straight away. The whole team at the Griffin are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotless with good modern furnishings. The food is top notch and such good value. All the serving staff made the... More

This is the place to go for amazing food and top service. The staff are all so friendly and very helpful as my friends child was not settling well but they went out of their way to get some coloring in pencils and paper. Food was great lovely traditional English food. There carvery is the best in town! But defiantly... More

Have visited here quite a few times in previous years and still great as ever. Always book a table - they get very busy! We booked our table and were set up right in the window. The whole family enjoyed their food... I'd highly recommend the belly pork, lamb shoulder and the rump steak with cheese they sometimes put on... More

Was here on business for 5 nights.... Rooms were to a high standard... always kept clean... My room was to the front and it could be very busy out side, especially if you have windows open... Breakfast was well cooked and basically anything you wished, freshly cooked... Had Sunday carvery and was well worth the money... Car parking on site... More

Situated in the Middle of Newquay this is more than a pub it becomes the centre of your stay. Food good, and room with breakfast excellent. We stayed in room 2,(sea view & headland) yes noise can be heard into the night because of the cut thru, ear plugs are great!. The cut thru is also handy for the beaches... More
