A world away from the Leicester Markfield Travelodge - this was just great, wish I could have stayed longer, so worth it, will definitely go back to Newqay...watch the wifi the partner company is on an expensive line and their staff are incomprehensible - so the calls are long and expensive - and you need wifi to access the wifi!... Stayed here for two nights recently. Pros: Ideal for exploring Newquay. Above an Aldi shop for grocery shopping. Sea views! Free Wifi in bar from 5-10 pm. Cons: Can be a bit noisy as it is on the main road through town. Bathroom a bit small, but functional Cost: 40 GBP /night

My boyfriend and I spent two nights here this weekend. Having stayed in many travelodges around the country, we'd definitely say this was one of the more pleasant ones. Our room was modern and clean and very spacious. There was a working TV mounted on the wall as well, which we used. The bed wasn't awful and we managed to... More

Staff friendly, ok for a one night stop over unless your of the younger generation then you might stretch to a second night with extra pillows. Will need your own hair dryer. Also don't expect buffet breakfast if not busy as it will be cook to order!!! Same...

We asked for a sea view which we got but we were right above the loading bay and the bins , at 5am every morning a lorry arrives pulling cages in and out , after the rubbish bins are emptied and the about 7am another lorry arrives . Three pillows between two of us , so asked for another one... More

We chose to stay in this Travelodge due to the price and location. We have stayed in travelodges many times before but non have been as basic as this. The room comprised of a bed, small desk with chair, tv on wall and small hanging rail by door. The bathroom was minature but modern and clean. I'm not sure why... More

spent a long weekend at the travel lodge in newquay was a clean comfortable place friendly staff as long as you weren't too rowdy ideally placed as weatherspoons pub is directly across the road so breakfast is sorted easy walk into town centre for nite life decent views from most rooms( in summer time)

the chambermaid must have left in a hurry, bed half made, no replacement coffee, towels thrown on the bed. The pull out bed was a sheet covering a load of springs, not suitable for use, only 4 pillows between 3 people, ok it was cheap and cheerfull, would not recommed for more than a couple of nights.

A group of us stayed here. Good location to get into town for a drink . Basic clean rooms . Good value if splitting price of room . Would stay here again. But be warned it can get a bit of noise late at night

Our room was just to the side of the entrance to the Aldi supermarket below and were expecting to be woken by delivery lorries coming and going and trolleys being moved, however this wasn't the cause of me being up at 5.30 in the morning. The bed was terrible, we couldn't get comfortable, it sank in the middle and when... More
