Really enjoyed our stay here at porth lodge hotel a 10 minute walk from the beach and driving to all kinds of tourist spots great food and reasonable priced drinks during our 4 night stay we hardly left at night preferring to stay for the delicious home cooked dinner making use of the bowling, the staff were lovely and friendly... Bed sheets not washed at a high enough temperature (or at all), as it still had specks of blood on it...? One of the towels also had make up marks on it. Quite noisy, and smoke from the front door came up into our window. Breakfast would've been average, if it wasn't for the pan fried toast that was soaked... More

We spent August bank holiday at the Porth Lodge and wish we hadnt! We had dirty towels stained with makeup making us wonder whether the towels had been washed at all..? Blood stains on the bedding which we requested to have changed but the new bedding also had blood stains on it! There were even blood stains on the side... More

Just had a delightful stay at the Porth Lodge Hotel with my son for 13 nights.... For the fourth year running, This included bed , breakfast and evening meals. The hotel continues to run a relaxed family business with a rolling programme of modernisation throughout the Hotel which is fantastic to see.... The room was beautiful with everything we needed... We booked in for 5 days. The lodge had a ten pin bowling alley and an olde worlde pub attached which was cosy. Dave and Carol who run it were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was very tasty and good portion sizes. Breakfast was so filling that it did us till tea time. The room was fine... More

What can I say - we had such a fantastic time. The location is perfect, quiet and quaint away from the hustle & bustle of Newquay but close enough to walk to the beach, etc - best of both worlds! We stayed in a spacious family room (Room No. 5) with everything you could possibly need. The kitchenette was fully... More

A good Hotel, very well located, friendly staff and lots of good food at breakfast. My only complaint would be the lack of 'Free Wifi', it says in their welcome pack that free Wifi is available in most parts of the hotel, I could not get any, anywhere in the Hotel!, this would of made it difficult if we were... Just returned home after our second holiday to Porth Lodge Hotel and it was great to see the same staff there again as they are very pleasant and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of choice at breakfast and portion sizes are large. We were in family room 7 just above main entrance, large room with bunk beds... More

The hotel was very nice, but the breakfast both mornings was dry and burnt. The evening meal, gammon was very chewy and dry and the butterfly chicken stack was breaded chicken in a bun, not anything like the description. Saying that would recommend for accomodation...just eat elsewhere
