Had a very relaxing couple of days here at this laid back and quirky hotel. The hotel has limited car parking, but there is a public car park next door at reasonable cost. We ate in the restaurant which was excellent and will certainly be back.

This is the third consecutive summer we have visited this place and each time things get better. The rooms have been refurbished and even the small double that we stayed in (due to the others being fully occupied) was comfortable, clean and excellent value. The food was as wonderful as ever. The service and friendliness from the staff showed that... More

I stayed at the Old Coastguard for one night last week with my husband, so that we could start our trip to the Scilly Isles fully rested (early ferry). We arrived quite late having travelled from Dorset, but received a warm welcome and shown to our room promptly. Luckily supper was still being served so we were fitted in and... More

We always make a point of eating here every time we are in Mousehole, so we thought we would try the accommodation before moving into our cottage the next day. The hotel is right next to the harbour and you can walk from the garden down to the sea. The pictures cannot do the views justice and luckily the weather... More

We have stayed here on 3 separate occasions over the last year and just love everything about the place. The rooms are well furnished and most have sea views, 2 of the rooms we have stayed in you can lie on the bed and look at the sea. There are no tv's in the the rooms but there are books... More

A funky old place with lots of charm. The weather was kind to us and we enjoyed the views, sitting outside and everything about the place. The staff was well trained and did all they could to make our 3-day stay memorable. The hotel is just on the edge of the village, with lots of interesting shops and places to... More

Just stayed for my second time at this wonderful bolt - hole on a 2 night DB&B basis. Beautiful room overlooking the bay and St Michael's Mount. Bed was supremely comfortable and I slept very well. My meals were excellent, well cooked and beautifully presented with excellent service. This is just the most relaxing hotel where you can totally switch... More

Our lunch cost £84. I had to send the kids fish back, because it was pink raw. It had skin on and in my opinion was not a kids meal. Kids dont like to think about where their food came from and are certainly less likely to have a pallette for raw fish. We eat here regularly but this is... More

We have stayed here twice this year, once for 2 nights the second time just for one. Both times we have had rooms with spectacular views over to St. Michael's Mount. Both times we took the Dinner, B&B package option which with the excellent food and exceptionally pleasant atmosphere in the bar/dining room was terrific value. The staff are charming... More

This was our first visit to the Old Coastguard for lunch even though we've lived here for the past 11 years. We've never really felt the need to visit in the past as there was a list of other places we wished to visit first. Menu choice was good and the ordering of our food was swift. Kids menu was... More
