The Ship Inn is located on the sea front directly opposite the harbour. We found Mel the landlady and her staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fantastic and we ended up having evening meals at the location too. The last night's sea food platter was a sharing plate and we were pressed to finish it. The Ship Inn has a... More

We stayed at the ship for four nights over New Year. We stayed in room seven which is in the cottage joined on to the pub. The room and bathroom (which was small) were both nicely fitted out. There was a view of the harbour which was decked out with Christmas lights. During our stay we also ate in the... More

We visited Mousehole for the Christmas lights which were beautiful as always and decided to eat in The Ship Inn, what a fortunate choice! We were seated in the restaurant which was cosy and full of festive atmosphere. Our meals were promptly served and were delicious and of high quality. Will definitely return in the summer, perfect evening!

Friendly welcome when we arrived at this bustling inn right on the harbour in this charming Cornish fishing village. The barmaid showed us to our rooms next to the pub - certainly compact but very clean and comfortable enough for an overnight stay, although the wi-fi didn't work in the rooms, only once back in the pub. Parking is available... More

If you're in Cornwall at CHRISTMAS it's a must to see the festive lights in and around the harbour and have a couple of pints in the Ship Faultless beer and hospitality.Good food is available at reasonable prices.

'It's like having your favourite Auntie looking after you...' Mr Hobo mentioned to Mrs Hobo, who was gazing out of the window to the harbour, the sea, and beyond in this fantastically positioned establishment. Mel and her staff were terrific, and it felt as if we were the only people there, with the service we received. We stayed a couple... More

I was lucky to find a parking space on the quayside, a bargain at £2 for 24 hours, and then just a short walk to the Ship Inn. It's right in the middle of the harbour area, and I had a first floor room with a bay window and fantastic view over the harbour and out to sea. Check-in was... More

We booked a table for Sunday lunch today at 1.30 pm. However, we were running late I called to let them know, no problem at all. We arrived and were greeted so warmly and seated right by the window overlooking the harbour. I had roast beef and my partner had roast pork, the service was very quick and the roast... More

The landlady Melanie was extremely helpful and friendly as were her staff.Really good food and the waiting staff again were friendly and helpful with a good service. The accommodation in the next door cottage was very clean, however not a lot of space especially... More
