Went back to this lovely little harbour after 35 years and it hasn't changed much. Very picturesque. The Ship Inn was very welcoming and the food...we all commenting on how good it was. We all had very different meals so it covered all our tastes. Would love to go back and watch the winter weather another time or the Christmas... More

We visited The Ship Inn on several occasions during our stay in Mousehole. The staff were fantastic and the chef allowed us to be flexible on our food choices. Would definitely recommend on all fronts

We arrived at The Ship, tired and wet, looking for a bite of lunch. On the way in a board read "Jen and the crew give you a hearty welcome". The hearty welcome consisted of being ignored at the bar for about 3 minutes, and then being told, that despite the time being only 2.25, and the sign saying they... More

Stayed at the Ship Inn in Mousehole for one evening after playing golf at West Cornwall. Mousehole is a lovely, charming place well worth visiting with its great sea views and charming harbour. The Ship Inn serves good food and the staff are very pleasant. We stayed in a double room which was adequate but unfortunately we also had the... More

As a Supporter of the RNLI this pub is a place I've wanted to visit for a long time. Without being morbid I wanted to visit this pub to photograph the plaque on one of it's walls that commemorates the lose of the Landlord, Charles Greenhaugh who lost his life with the rest of the Crew of the Solomon Browne... What puts this place in the category of worth a visit is the view. The pub itself is alright although not especially comfortable and relaxing which normally typifies a good English pub. The rooms were ok reasonably well appointed and it did not bother me that the window rattled each night from strong sea breezes, that I put down to... More

From the phone call to book to leaving The Ship Inn every one was extremely helpful and incredibly attentive. Arrived after leaving the Scillionian 111 late with two dogs, holiday bags and extremely frazzled. From booking in at the bar the owner took my husband to the parking, my bags and myself to our room. Then our meal was rapidly produced... More

Stayed 2 nights, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great, friendly service - good breakfast and great food in the pub/restaurant. I would say the pub-food was way above regular pubgrub. The room was nice and comfortable and spotless clean. Even though it was just above the pub it was really quiet. The Inn is located just across the harbour, just next... More

Stayed here 2 nights in the first week of September. Nice room, comfy beds, great breakfast, a really pleasant stay. When booking we were told that all of the sea view rooms were sold out, so we were nicely surprised when we could do a bit of naval gazing from our window. There is no parking on site but there...
