A lunchtime carvery for two for under £10.00, with views over Looe harbour, Every Thursday the hotel has this promo running & all vegatables are fresh with some of the best beef we've tasted for a while. Will be returning for as long as this promo is running. Excellent!

I visited Looe in in August as part of a coach party that stayed at the Portbyhan. My room had the most wonderful views from its balcony, images of which I have uploaded with this review. Because of this my son and daughter-in-law who came to visit me at the hotel referred to my room as "The Joan Collins Suite"!... More

Came on a coach "Turkey and Tinsel" holiday. We were welcomed by Ann, the Manager, on arrival whilst the cases were being unloaded. Tea was served whilst they were being taken to the rooms. The hotel has a lovely dining room overlooking the river and the fishing boats. The kitchen is fully viewable from the dining area so you can... More

I have holidayed in Looe for several years and until this year never visited the Hotel. The hotel has undergone a revamp and the outside revamp is what initially entices you to visit compared to the old colour scheme. We were booked in for Sunday carvery and place was busy with the hotels guests but what I would say is... More

Chose to dine at this hotel in Looe as it overlooked the harbour and we had a fantastic view from our table by the window. Excellent service from our waiter who did everything to make us feel welcome and the food was great. Very child friendly hotel which catered well for children. Would definately dine here again when in Looe.

This was a last minute booking. Such a lovely place. Friendly staff, lovely room on second floor, clean, smelt nice, very comfy bed. Had to turn the heating off as it was a little too warm for me. Breakfast was lovely. Strongly recommend staying Here. We saw the Turkey and tinsel and it made me feel quite festive. Great place... More
