Just had a relaxing weekend in loo, Cornwall in a fabulous location ,walkable to the beach, friendly and accommodating hosts, in a dog friendly room, with each morning the most delicious breakfast , all whilst surrounded by a farmyard experience.

Recently returned from an idyllic break at Penvith Barns. This was my forth stay here and once again, it was wonderful. There is a real 'vibe' about the place which is due i suspect to the charming, helpful and 'Hip, couple who own and run the place. Jules and Graham are perfect hosts who really do seem to get a... The barns have been converted to have good size bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The location is rural though we found it was not far, by car, to the coast. We had a friendly reception and shown the facilities in the "Hen House" - other rooms were the Hay Loft and the Piggery etc. The bed was comfortable and the shower... More

If your looking for a fantastic location to stay and a very warm welcome then look no further! Jules and Graham are the perfect hosts, the rooms lovely and the best breakfast you can ask for. I would definitely recommend it and will be sure to get back ourselves.

We stayed in September 2014 and truly enjoyed our stay. We were a party of five including our dog Django. The setting and buildings are very beautiful and this is enhanced by Jules and Graham as hosts. Nothing was too much trouble even looking after mum's fickle breakfast requirements! On the subject of breakfasts Graham's is superb and I can... More

My wife and I stayed at Penvith Barns for 2 nights over the New Year's Eve period. Upon arriving we were totally taken aback by the look of the buildings and grounds, stunning! We were greeted by Jules who is the most amazing host alongside her equally amazing husband/chef, Graham. Graham by the way cooks the best cooked breakfast we... More

Stayed here in August for a short weekend over the bank holiday and we stayed in the Hay Barn. The room was beautiful with a huge bed. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was very powerful. Very clean and tidy and had extra blankets and pillows to make it cosy. Jules and Graham were brilliant hosts, very friendly and... More

Our second time at Penvith and found it just as perfect as before. Jules and Graham are great hosts. Breakfasts could not be faulted and we especially liked the alternatives offered to a 'full English'. We know the area well but Graham was still able to suggest places to visit/ eat which we had not encountered before. All in all... More

Cannot fault this B & B. Jules & Graham could not be more warm and welcoming, and very knowledgeable of the area in every way. We stayed in 2 different rooms, both with very comfortable beds, thoughtful decor and excellent en suites, there were nice touches such as fresh flowers and upmarket toiletries. Breakfasts could not have been better, varied... More

Jules and Graham were the perfect hosts with exceptional accommodation for our 7 night stay and we could not resist the perfect breakfast to start each day. Graham was very knowledgeable of the local area giving good advice on places to visit and eat. We were sad to leave but looking forward to returning next year and sampling more of... More
