Loved our stay here. The owner was super helpful, downloading walking instructions, giving great local advice and hints. Breakfast was fresh and filling, rooms were comfortable, had all we needed and large if a tiny bit dated. Didn't matter though when the view was so pretty and the location just great. You do need a car as the area is... More

This hotel is a little gem. Good location with easy access to major sites: Eden, Heligan etc. Extraordinary walk from hotel to Looe down path with 1 1/2 thousand year old dry stone wall with plants on right side: world-class. Peaceful setting with wonderful views out to the moors. Consistently excellent food from Ross and warm, friendly care and attention... More

This is the first hotel that we have constantly returned to for a relaxing holiday. Hazel in an absolutely wonderful hostess with a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area and things to do. Ross's meals just get better. He was very good on our first visit two years ago, he was even better when we returned last year and... More

We have just spent five nights DBB at the Trelaske for probably the fifth time and we can honestly say that it’s as good today as it was when we first stayed back in 2009. Spotlessly clean, spacious, light and airy rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of wardrobe and storage space, patio area or balcony with chairs and table for sitting... More

We have stayed 6 nights in this lovely hotel which is in a beautiful peaceful location in between Looe & Polperro. This is one of the best(if not the best) hotel we have stayed in. Hazel did everything possible to make our holiday special, printing maps of local walks and giving advice on local interesting places. We had a lovely... More

We stayed DBB for 7 nights in Room 6 . We could not have had better service . My wife has Coeliacs disease and needs gluten free food. Ross could not have provided better food for her and my meals were excellent too. Room 6 is a large room with duel aspect of the countyside. We would strongly recommend this... More

We have just spent five nights at Trelaske and enjoyed every minute. The welcome from Hazel was the best we have ever had. Our room was lovely with a large balcony where we could sit and look over Bodmin moor. The food prepared by Ross was superb and beautifully presented. A lot of the fruit and vegetables are grown in... More

We stayed here in June to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel is in a lovely position and the room in the hotel was very comfortable. We even had a balcony overlooking the garden. My only complaint was that when I booked, a couple of months before, I was asked if we would like an evening meal in the restaurant.... More
