This was our 3rd visit to the Trelaske Hotel and we were again "blown away" by the hospitality and food experienced during our week in sunny Cornwall. My wife and I continue to wax lyrical to all of our friends and family over just how good the food that comes out of Ross's kitchen is. We were again treated to... More

My wife and I have visited Trelaske Hotel at least 8 times over the past 4/5 years; and whilst experiencing very changeable weather during our visits, things that never change are the pleasant accomodation, exceptional food quality, and the sheer professionalism and friendliness of Hazel, the co-owner. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. As I and other reviewers have written,... More

We stayed for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Hazel is such a good hostess and couldn't do enough for us. The food is such a delight, well cooked and presented and a wonderful variety of tastes. Ross is obviously passionate about his food. Our room overlooked the garden and was a tranquil haven in which to... More

From the warm welcome to the final good bye. Everything about our 6 day stay was perfect. The resterant food and service was excellent. The location was perfect with wild rabbits hopping across the lawn. Thank you so much Hazel for making our stay so wonderful. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

Location beautiful, food in the hotel restaurant - cooked by Ross - startlingly good (and we are horribly fussy). Hazel couldn't be more accommodating. Rooms spotlessly clean and very well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, soft towels and perfect views. Took our dogs and teenagers who loved it. Thank you Hazel and Ross !

We have just returned from a perfect 3 night stay at this hotel and wish we could have stayed longer! Hazel could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The meals cooked by Ross were excellent, after choosing to have an evening meal on the last night of our stay we wish that we had eaten there every night. We... More

Our UK breaks are usually self catering but this hotel came so highly recommended that we decided to break with tradition... and we weren't disappointed. Our garden bedroom was bright and airy with plenty of storage, a comfy sofa and balcony. Extra touches such as a nice range of toiletries and snowy white flannels changed daily were much appreciated. Hazel... More

This is a lovely small country house hotel, just what you want for a relaxing break. The accommodation and decor is comfortable and clean, the atmosphere quiet and peaceful, the food absolutely excellent (and mostly locally produced—some even in their own grounds), and the owner Hazel was very friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. It was... More
