We "stumbled" upon this wonderful place arriving in Looe late in the day and keen to settle in somewhere. Bridge House appealed because of its location.....and what a great surprise! It began with a long welcoming chat and cup of tea and it just got better - a great room with absolutely everything you could possibly want and all in... More

I promised the owner I would write a review for him and he really does deserve it. Work has kept me busy the past few weeks so it's only now that I'm back in the country that I've had a chance to do this. I stayed here with a friend over the bank holiday weekend earlier in the month. From... More

I loved every minute of my stay here. Thanks to Colin and Liz for making me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was lovely, the shower was nice and hot and they let me sleep in past breakfast, but still served me when I tottered down at 9! I can't remember any hotel or B&B that's done that for me... Not much to say about this place other then it more then made up for the pouring rain that followed me and my girlfriend all the way down from London. The room was spacious and warm, my girlfriend loved the bath but my favourite part was breakfast! We were served the most succulent sausages along with some of the best... More

Thank you to Colin and Liz! We have just spent three nights at the finest guest house we have ever stayed at. On arrival, Colin helped with the luggage and while I was parking the car he prepared a fresh pot of tea with home-made biscuits. Very welcome after a long journey. He then sat with us and gave us... B&Bs are pretty new to me being originally from Sydney. We don't really have B&Bs in Oz. More Motels. Me and the missus loved this place though! We were late arriving but the bloke who runs the joint didn't seem to mind at all. He just gave us a big grin, showed us where everything was, including the bar :-)... More

Just got back home having spent the night at this lovely B&B in Looe last week with my wife. I was actually excited to finish a job early so we could get going down to Loow as quickly as possible. The Old Bridge was very comfortable, the water in the shower was hot and easily controlled and I was able... More

Well, what can I say, it appears that it has already been said many times before. This guesthouse is an absolute star and worthy of six stars if it were possible. Colin and Liz are such hospitable owners/operators that clearly care about what they are doing with their business. There was really nothing that I could fault. The breakfasts were... More

Thank God for places like this! Don’t know what we would have done if we hadn’t booked this in advance. By the time we got to Looe it was pouring rain and the only thing still dry were my feet. It was a blessing to be shown to a nice warm room by what I can only describe as the... More

We've just got back from a couple of nights staying at the Old Bridge House (we only booked for one, but loved it so much we stayed an extra night) Colin & Liz are very welcoming, and the B & B is spotless. The breakfasts were far superior to many 4* hotels, with a good choice. The beds were comfortable,... More
