We booked to stay at The Old Bridge House after reading the positive reviews and we were not disappointed. Liz and Colin are friendly, welcoming and attentive hosts. On arrival we were welcomed by Colin, who made us some tea and coffee and biscuits We then had a tour of the guesthouse and Colin showed us where everything was before... More

Looe is like home from home for me anyway, but I must say that this was one of the best B&B's I have stopped in. The owners/hosts were amazing before we had even got there and gave us a courtesy call a few days before. When we actually arrived they were the most accommodating and kindest of people. The room... I visit Looe occasionally for a school reunion, and I always ask for a room at The Old Bridge House. The owners are just the right blend of always-on-hand without being too intrusive, the location is as good as you will ever find in a working port, and the breakfasts are a work of art. It may be helpful if... More

My friend and I received a warm and genuine welcome from Colin and Liz and were shown to our room. Our twin room looked out onto the harbour and was absolutely spotless complete with complimentary toiletries and drinks/biscuit tray. The breakfast was second to none with the option of fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice and cereal to start followed by your... More

Very welcoming hosts - and small but well appointed rooms. Lots of stairs - but had handrails. The breakfasts were delightfully prepared and presented - with an excellent choice and selection of food. The hosts had a wealth of knowledge not only of the local area, but the road systems etc throughout that part of England. Very ideally situated to... More

The Old Bridge House B&B gets a 10 out of 10 from me. Liz and Colin were the perfect hosts giving just the right amount of attention. Breakfasts were just right and I can throughly recommend the porridge. The rooms were spotless, with a very comfy bed and of course the beautiful view. Loved that the bathroom was very well... More

I've just spent 5 lovely days staying here to visit a cousin I'd not seen for 20 years. It was easier for her if I stayed in a hotel. I chose the Old Bridge House in January and spoke to Colin who was obviously a very friendly soul and very helpful. I was not at all disappointed when I arrived.... More

Liz and Colin's warm welcome with tea, coffee and biscuits was much appreciated by our small Swiss group. As hoped, the rooms were spotlessly clean and as attractive as in the pictures, particularly those with a view overlooking the estuary with its many boats and ever-changing tides. Other very positive features include the cosy little bar and the newish balcony... More

This hotel must is perfectly located in Looe. If possible try to book room nr 6 that has a perfect view over the harbour and east Looe. The owners are very serviceminded and the standard of the room and breakfast was very good. If wallking is in your interest try the Looe-Watergate-Talland circular walk. In Talland you can have break... More

We spent 2 relaxing nights at The Old Bridge House with hosts Liz and Colin. The Bridge House is well located, and as with most of these quaint old fishing villages, parking will be difficult. However you do have a loading zone out the front, and a large 24 hr car park is a 3 minute walk under the bridge.... More
