We stopped at the Deganwy in June for a long weekend break to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival we were met by the owners Duncan and Kathy who helped with our bags up to the room. We stayed in room 5 which had a great view out over the river, it was clean and comfortable and had a small table... More

The view from the windows is superb: you look right into the river from your window. The owners are very gentle and the rooms are more than clean. The only thing that can be improved is the buffet options for breakfast. No yogurt, no assorted jam, no fresh fruit (except some grapefruit). The breakfast offer is less than you could... More

We stayed for 5 nights in Room 7. We had fantastic views from our room and it was spotlessly clean. We brought our own towels (as we didn't realise they were provided), and they were dried for us everyday. It was a little noisy with seagulls but that was to be expected and didn't really bother us. Kathy and Duncan... More

We arrived not knowing that there is a steep slope plus stair's to the front door, so anyone with mobility problems will have difficulty, there is no double glazing so it was noisy at night especially when the drinkers were going home, this carried on until 1-2am. The room we had was crowded and the wardrobe was a hole in... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for just one night. When we booked, we asked what time breakfast was served, as we had to be gone by 8am. Their reply was, "Whenever you want it" which was fantastic! When we arrived, we were able to park across the road for free (as we arrived at 7pm, it's free parking 6pm-9am)... More

My partner and I had booked four nights in another B&B in Looe but walked out after checking the room (which was musty, with a stained carpet and hairs in the bed! However, I won't Trip Advise this one as our deposit was refunded immediately). We had noticed the Deganwy had vacancies as we drove towards the town centre so... More

Had a lovely stay in this hotel. The owners were really nice and happy to help with any questions we had. Our room was clean, and had a nice view of the river. I was also impressed with the parking facilities and our breakfast was good. Would definately go back again.

Stayed here recently and totally enjoyed it. My room, overlooking the estuary, was not large but it was entirely adequate. There was a wash basin in the room and a seperate toilet/shower area. Hotel was very clean and the hosts (Kathy & Duncan) are lovely people. One definate benefit is the included car parking. Breakfast too was good. For those... More
