If you think that great service is a thing of the past THINK AGAIN. It is alive and well at the Fieldhead Hotel. On arrival we are met by a charming gentleman, the owner, who could not be more helpful. We walk up to the room, room 12. It is clean redecorated and of a good size, but there is... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and I have to say we enjoyed every minute. After a very long drive down from the North we had booked an evening meal at the hotel and I'm so glad we did, we were both very surprised at the quality of the food, we opted for the 4 course option and were shown... More

We stopped at the Fieldhead Hotel for three nights and what a lovely hotel. Perfect location for access into Looe and the biggest surprise was the food which was top class. We only booked originally for bed and breakfast but due to the long drive on the first night decided to have an evening meal and was glad we did.... More

This really was a mixed bag. The car park is very difficult to navigate with a large car, but there is little they can do to improve that, and many hotels in Looe do not have parking (one of the reasons this hotel was chosen) Upon entering it is very strange to walk into a corridor of presumably bedroom doors.... Dear Gemma O Llanelli “This really was a mixed bag”, and we can only start where you ended: “I don't think its for me”. We were delighted to be invited to participate in The Hotel Inspector with Alex Politzi and hopefully to benefit from her Management Consultancy, makeover and advice. Filming was some 5 months ago at the end of... More

Went to Looe for an overnight stay on our road trip via a recommendation...so glad we did. Looe is a little tricky to navigate on first arrival....streets are very narrow. We headed towards the headland looking for views and dropped into a couple of hotels. Found the Fieldhead perched at the top of the hill and was sold by Julian,... More

Recently refurbished room was spacious and welcoming. Balcony rooms are absolutely 'WOW' and the view across the bay was outstanding. Dressing gowns, slippers and a great selection of teas and coffees made the stay even more comfortable. We've eaten in Horizons restaurant twice and have found the quality and value of food to be the best in Looe. If you're... More

I have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at The Fieldhead Hotel. The hotel is situated in a lovely peaceful part of West Looe, with glorious sea views out to Looe Island and beyond. I travelled alone and only required a basic single room, which I booked via Laterooms.com at £55 per night. As it was the cheapest room... More

Stunning views and fantastic food. You would have to go a long way to find a more courteous host than Julian. This is an outstanding hotel which we have no hesitation in recommending to everybody. Nothing is too much trouble.

We stayed at the hotel for a mid week anniversary break and were surprised at the lovely views and friendly service.
