Stunning views and fantastic food. You would have to go a long way to find a more courteous host than Julian. This is an outstanding hotel which we have no hesitation in recommending to everybody. Nothing is too much trouble.

We stayed at the hotel for a mid week anniversary break and were surprised at the lovely views and friendly service. Julian and his wife run a lovely hotel and the best eggs benedict and mushrooms I've had in a very long time. We also purchased some of Gills very unique art so we have a lovely reminder of our... We stayed for four nights in a seaview balcony room. Room was small but with balcony doors open, thankfully due to the warm September sun this made the room seem more spacious. Hotel overall very nice the lounge has big windows with glorious sea view, the bar area nice, dining area spotlessly clean, most window sills displaying art hand made by the... More

We booked into the Fieldhead hotel after being impressed by it's sea view rooms and convenient location. And upon first seeing our room we were impressed - the good sized balcony with stunning sea views was the first thing that struck us and made us smile! Other than that, room facilities were OK, although TV was a little small and... More

I have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at the Fieldhead hotel. The hotel had a lovely homely feel, was nice and clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good, obviously quality produce and well presented. The room was facing the sea with a large balcony offering excellent views and an extremely comfortable bed.... More

The hotel building has some quirky features like uneven floors, but it is well appointed and spotlessly clean (except the balcony which could do with an upgrade and clean). Good food and a great variety of breakfasts all freshly prepared to order. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Would recommend.

The Field Head Hotel is situated up on the Western side of Looe within a minutes walk of the coastal path to Polperro and beyond. We enjoyed a 2 night break here as part of our Cornish tour and can highly recommend it. The hotel is accessed by steps, which is clear from its publicity, and as such allows the... More

We only stayed one night at this hotel. It was expensive but fitting for the area. The owner was very welcoming. The hotel had a lovely view from the lounge and you could walk down to Looe in 15 mins (hilly walk.) Our room was a family room which had a spacious balcony but it faced a wall and there... More

With magnificent views from the height of West Looe, the Fieldhead has a tremendous location, and this is the main reason why we booked into this hotel for a week, since we’ve stayed in Looe before and are familiar with the town and the stunning views from Hannafore. We also chose it for the car park, which you don’t find... More
