Booked this guest house for my parents for one night on the 5th April 14. They haven't even left looe yet, and they've already phoned to say how Great the place is. "The owner is so friendly and welcoming! And the hospitality and cleanliness was out of this world". They also catered for my celiac mother! Which we didn't expect... More

Stayed at The Bridgeside for Valentines evening, a fantastic location and a great feel to the accommodation. Lovely people, nothing too much trouble . We stayed in Room 2 which was really spacious and nicely decorated. Great views across the bridge and water. A lovely touch from the owner Sammy, a bottle of red left in our room, we thought... More

Stayed a couple of nights in a family room, excellent size, very clean and comfortable and a fabulous view to wake to in the morning as our room was front facing over the river - beautiful. We were made to feel most welcome and really felt "at home" there. The breakfast was freshly cooked and more than filling, with a... More

My wife, son and I all stayed in a family room for the Looe Music festival at the end of Sept. We were greeted warmly and made to feel very, very welcome by our host. Our room was much bigger than expected and my son was over the moon to have his own luxurious 'proper' bed - 'family rooms' have... More

As I arrived a bit early to check in about 1pm, Sammy the very friendly host welcomed me to Looe and explained he was still servicing the rooms, though he offered to make a pot of tea whilst I waited out on the very sunny front landing till my room was ready. I decided instead to have some lunch and... More

Well, in contradiction to the many rave reviews on this accommodation, is it a guest house or bed and breakfast, Anyway, we only met the owner the following morning for breakfast, and the lady taking our breakfast order never even introduced herself and we felt somewhat ignored. We are so glad we only stayed one night as first impressions count... More
