A great B&B in a great location. Really well appointed & clean, and with friendly, helpful owners (they even lent us their umbrella on a rainy day). Breakfast was freshly cooked & very hearty - don't plan too much for lunch! It's an easy walk out to several pubs & restaurants nearby, or evening meals are served in Mawgans own... More

We had a 3 night stay at Mawgans and enjoyed it thoroughly! Steve and Kim the new ownersare locals and are excellent hosts, warm and friendly and full of handy tips, information, directions and locations to visit. The breakfast was REALLY good, so big that we skipped lunch everyday. We stayed in the Foxglove room which had a street view... More

Mawgan's was our first stop on a week-long walking holiday across Cornwall and it was a perfect start. Our room was clean, cheery and comfortable. The location right across the road from the Looe beach was a prime spot and nice for exploring the town. The owners Jane and Chris gave us a warm welcome, a wonderful dinner that night... More

My wife and I stayed at Mawgans for three nights over the 2011 Easter weekend, we were in Looe for our anniversary and to see friends that had started a coffee shop business there. Chris & Jane were Excellent hosts, nothing was to much trouble and they made you feel extremely welcome, it was very close to "Home from home".... More

Had a really nice evening out. The food was just great. This is a small resturant and the couple who run it are obviously very proud people who are not interested in turning out cook chill microwave rubbish - So don't go in here if you're thinking of a quick refuling stop - enjoy!

Having stayed 3 times so far, Mawgans is highly recommended. Jane & Chris can't do enough to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. Prefectly positioned for the town and beach, you can't go wrong staying here!

Jane and Chris were the perfect hosts, so pleasant and helpful. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the room was lovely. They open in the evening as a restaurant which is their main business and dined ourselves with family and all agreed that the food was superb. Can't fault any of it.

To start with Jan and Chris are very friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in you feel at home. The rooms are of a very high standard and warm (which seeing as it is right next to the beach this is very good!) they are spotlessly clean which tea making facilities. The breakfast in the morning is all... More
