We loved the Jolly Sailor. It is centrally situated, ideal for walking around Looe. Our room was fabulous. A real pub - can imagine us becoming locals if we lived in the town. The fact that we could park outside was a real bonus. Would definitely recommend.

We had a most enjoyable stay at this very old pub, friendly staff & lovely atmosphere. Only thing that let it down was that there was no fruit option at breakfast. The folk evening on Tuesday was an added bonus.

A small and quaint old public house {the oldest in Looe} with lots of character, which is only a very short walk from the harbour. They keep a nice selection of real ale. They also have local musicians meeting there for jam sessions.

Bit of a strange review as I had to cancel last min and didn't stay but I would regret it if I didn't say how wonderful and helpful the staff are here! My partner at the time had a lot of allergies and they want above and beyond to sort out stuff for her to eat and even after all... More

Arrived early evening after long drive from the North East. Had arranged parking in advance - this was a must, as local public parking is very expensive. Owners could not have been more welcoming! Lovely 4 poster bed with seriously comfortable mattress. Bedroom lighting could have been more powerful, and a few more plug sockets (eg for charging phones and... More

Great location, fabulous staff, perfect room and then an awesome breakfast - lulled to sleep by sea shanties being sung in the bar. This is the REAL Cornwall. Located next to the quayside in East Looe.

Stayed here last week with our dog the mad lab (barney) Good bits first we were looking for sum where too stay at short notice and checked with the jolly sailor if they would accept a booking with our lab, as they only allow small dogs. Happy days they accepted our booking (but did inform us the room was quite... More

Just stayed for a couple of nights at this hotel over valentines weekend, and could not fault the place. A warm welcome from the minute we walked in. Lovely old fashioned pub very warm and cosy. The front double room had all necessities including tea and coffee making facilities and was very warm. Local people were very friendly and talkative... More
