We spent four nights here and can recommend it. Our balcony room (number 6) was spacious with sea views, the staff were friendly and helpful, and - joy of joys - full breakfasts can be pre-ordered and served in one's room.

We stayed over at Chelsea House for two nights, room 7, during July 2014. The location was super and the friendliness and hospitality showed by the owners was also good. However, room 7, a twin room, was very small - fine for two nights but would not be adequate for a longer stay. Room 7 is one of three 'attic'... More

The first thing I noticed was a terrible smell of damp, upon further investigation I found evidence of mould throughout the accomodation on walls, ceilings and especially in and around the bathroom area. This annex is marketing as being for a family, these are not the conditions I would chose for my children or myself to sleep in, I would... More

We wanted a sea view, a lovely room with a comfy bed and a good breakfast. An added bonus would be accommodation within walking distance of the town and peace and quiet. Chelsea House matched all our expectations, we were warmly welcomed and hope to return again soon.

My wife and I stayed here for the night as part of our trip around cornwall. Upon arrival some other guests held the door for us which was a bit awkward, as we had to call to be checked in. The owner was lovely though and spent a long time chatting with us about the midlands and mutual friends of... More

We stayed there recently as we were going to a friends wedding. The room we stayed in for the first two nights was average, the bathroom was very small and dark with irritating double doors (room 8). The bathroom did have a bit of a smell. The room was quite cold too, probably due to it's position and the laminate... More

All the double rooms are nicely decorated, but not the twin room we stayed...it was tired, old furniture, not like the other rooms. When I booked the room, I knew the room was not double, but I hoped it would be as nice as the rest. The cleaning in the bathroom was ok, but not briliant; the towels were a... More

Myself and my partner wanted a nice relaxing break in falmouth and we were so happy to have chosen the Chelsea Guesthouse to stay in! We were made to feel so welcome, and we had booked a room with a balcony! However due to the windy rainy weather we were offered another room which was much larger with spectacular views... More

Lovely little place to stay in Falmouth with gorgeous views. Quiet road, very close to all the main attractions in Falmouth - town centre 10 minute walk, sea front 3 minute walk. Great breakfast in our room each morning admiring the view from the balcony window. A great restful weekend. The room was a little chilly but hey, it was... More
