We stayed at Pendra Loweth in August 2013, at the cottage “Rainbow’s End”. The cottage, and “village” was fantastic – within walking distance of three brilliant beaches. The kids favourite was Maenporth, but the ice-creams at Swanpool need to be seen (and tasted) to be believed! The village is very well presented, with a well-stocked bar on site, which doubles... Stayed in Mulberry Cottage no 95. Lovely modern cottage in quiet location. This cottage is equipped to a very good standard and there was nothing missing a real home from home. WiFi povided which was great for planning on places to visit using the smartphone. I will return to this cottage again, we were there during some very wet and... More

A surprise as the location is very hidden away in a narrow stream valley about half a mile inland from Maenporth beach. The houses (about 120) are modern but nicely done, extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. Every house faces south or west and has a screened patio with furniture - not completely private but the site feels spacious and... More

A very nice development of modern cottages with good facilities, including an onsite bar/restaurant, shop and leisure facilities including splash pool, jacuzzi, steam room, gym and games room with pool table. Lots of open spaces and paths for kids to cycle, plus tennis and ball courts across the site. The only thing I would want to see is a bigger... More

Pendra Loweth is great as we can take the dog. The complex would be improved if it had a proper swimming pool (the splash pool is jacuzzi sized) and views - can't really do anything about that. To be honest if we didn't have the dog we would stay at Maenporth Estate, the quality is higher. Our boys enjoyed the... More

We stayed for a week in number 2. Cannot fault it, spotless, quiet in the evening, about a mile to falmouths best beaches. We mis-booked part of our holiday, which left us needing an extra night and this was accommodated. Ours had both wifi and a washing machine, but this varies from cottage to cottage. Surprisingly absolutely no noise through... More

We stayed in number 1Chy-Nans a privately owned cottage for a week in July and I couldn't fault the place. The cleanliness of the cottage was of a very high standard and was fully equipped with everything you need and more. It is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Set in the grounds of a self catering village it has great... More

We stayed in the cottage called 'Tremaen' for a week in July 2013, as a party of two couples and one child, and absolutely loved it. It is clearly very well maintained and looked after as everything felt brand new. It's in a really good location on the complex as it's lovely and quiet and the garden backs onto open... More

Having experienced the Pendra Loweth factor last year, we booked again and this year we were allocated the property called Tanglewood which was about 6 properties further up the side of the stream from Herons Reach where we stayed last year. It still overlooks the stream so the sound of the running water is still enjoyable as we sat on... More

We stayed in Riverstones, a 3 bedroom cottage, with one bathroom, and open plan living downstairs, kitchen, dining area and lounge, opening out onto the patio area and garden at the front of the property. Nicely decorated. We really enjoyed our stay here, peaceful setting, a perfect base for our first trip to Cornwall, for a family wedding. One bathroom... More
