I stayed here last week for 3 nights with my two teenage daughters. The hotel is a beautiful old majestic hotel that has a beautiful position overlooking the ocean. We were lucky to have a huge room on the 3rd floor at the front of the hotel. The bed was enormous, and they had made up the sofa bed for... More

My wife and myself plus my son and his wife have just stayed at the Falmouth Hotel for the weekend. The hotel is in dire need of a facelift. From the outside it looked smart and well kept but the interior is decaying, with peeling paintwork and clearly no maintenance regime. From the surly Reception staff, to a room that... More

A lovely old hotel with a splendid sea view. Somewhat pricey and in need of refurbishment throughout. This was apparently on going but no signs of improvements where we were. Not good value for money in this day and age. Won't be in a hurry to return.

Stayed for 1 night, beautiful building overlooking the sea. Had a standard inland view room but no view just a rooftop, despite this we had a great stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, breakfast was very good and the staff excellent, nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed for a long weekend. The gardens are very pretty. The sea as a back drop is always good. Our room was large with double aspect windows. one window overlooked the sea ,the other overlooked the car park. The bed was very comfortable and large. We would have appreciated a full length mirror and a fridge. All the staff were very... More

Thank you for taking the time to put your comments on trip advisor. We are indeed in the process of putting full length mirrors in the bedrooms that do not have them. We have today brought out our new bar menu with some great choices on it and hope you will come and try. We have taken off a lot... More

I only spent an afternoon here - used the pool and sauna, ate lunch and used the nearby beach - all of which were great. The pool is not bad for a hotel pool and fairly reasonably priced. The sauna is nowhere near hot enough. Lunch was tasty and delivered with excellent, prompt and friendly service. The location is great... More

I stayed with 3 friends for two nights in this hotel, which had been booked by the Great Rail Journeys during our Devon & Cornish Rivera tour. The Hotel itself looks very beautiful and the public areas are nice and well furnished. But the whole hotel needs a serious renovation. The lift was moody didn't arrive or got stuck the... More

We had a lovely few days at the Falmouth Hotel. There is plenty to do in & around Falmouth and the hotel is centrally placed for walking to the beach and into town. The hotel rooms are in need of updating (which is all in hand apparently) but are clean, comfortable and huge. The food was outstanding and the service... More

We had been given a voucher at xmas and we live in cornwall so decided to book a room to enjoy a meal and not have to worry about drink driving.
