The Falmouth Hotel is an impressive Victorian hotel within large gardens. There is a large free car park on site but this is always full. I imagine people park there for the week and don’t move their car again until they go home. We have been to this hotel quite a few times and enjoy the lovely location, it is... More

We were warmly greeted by the staff and had a double room with walk in shower and bath. All very clean. The room was quiet and looked towards the docks and castle. The dining room and bar had lovely views beyond the gardens towards the sea. The breakfast was delicious - a good choice of cooked or continental type of... More

Took advantage of a special offer during January to coincide with my wife`s birthday, joining two friends for a three night stay. Good food, very amenable staff & nice large double room with sea view. This Victorian hotel is showing its age externally and needs some tlc to overcome some horrendous draughts from the old sash windows, but there was... More

Had bar chips and and tea and coffee here with friends. It was wonderfully relaxing, so spacious! The sea view was amazing. The cheesy chip portions were ample and tea, strong and generators. Bar staff were very polite, with a great sense of humour. Lovely experience. Will definitely return.

Having stayed at the Richardson Group's hotels in Fowey and Padstow many times, we tried the Falmouth Hotel, the first hotel built in the town. The staff were very good, but....it's time this wonderful building was upgraded to a 4-star, not a 3-star. The Terrace Restaurant was the most soulless place I've ever eaten it - old 1970s! Neither do... More

I stayed here for 3 nights for business, I booked here as it offered a good DBB option. The room was large with amazing views. The room was clean and tidy and the stay did exactly what it said on the tin. I will be returning for future stays. The food was good and the staff were attentive.

Once again the Falmouth Hotel has turned up trumps for our Old Cornwall Society's New Year Luncheon for over 30 guests. We were met with a friendly greeting and directed to the cloakroom and the lounge bar and as the organiser I was invited to view the prepared dining tables in the Lido area. From the table decorations, the menu... More

We went for a dinner bed & breakfast winter offer for 3 nights and had a brilliant time. The Hotel is in a fabulous position overlooking the see and Pendennis Castle. We walked for miles straight out of the hotel. We have stayed here a few times over the years and have seen the place being revitalised by Richardson Hotels. Serious... More
