We booked here based on Trip Advisor reviews, which we normally find to be very helpful. However I really cannot see how this place has got so many glowing reviews. I would definitely not call it “24 carat gold” “tastefully furnished” etc. I will try to be as factual as possible as I think different people’s expectations can be misleading.... More

Lost count how many times we have stayed at Trelawn. Location is great for visiting gardens, a beach just down the road and Falmouth bay out in front. Very friendly, good food, comfortable room and good after dinner company. Lovely coast walk to Helford Passage and the pub !

Have just completed a second (7 day) visit to Trelawne Hotel (3 years apart). Accommodation (sea-view rooms) and food were excellent--as good as on our previous visit. Great base for visiting Cornwall's gardens (easy driving distances) and always knowing we will return to tempting and varied choices on the dinner menu.
