great location right opposite the beach, lovely views across the sea from our room & from the hotel. Room was clean, furniture a bit dated, the shower was to be honest a bit rubbish. Breakfast was ok, overall, clean & tidy hotel with a nice view. Wouldn't want to stay here too for long though

Brilliant location.. Better than web pictures showed. 2mins from excellent beach..but walkable in to quayside area. Lovely coast views from some rooms..pleasant breakfast room.. Small but comfortable lounge area...clean &comfortable Only drawback very steep stairs, no lift. We did not have evening meal there so cannot comment on cuisine.

We stayed at the Anacapri for 5 nights June/July. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great sea view at no extra charge. Good sized bathroom with bath and shower. We found the staff very friendly and the breakfast was well cooked and well served. The location of the Anacapri is excellent, short walk down the hill to... More

We stayed at the Anacapri for two nights 27th and 28th June. I am so pleased we chose this Guesthouse. Our room was pretty, comfortable, fresh and very clean. We had stunning sea views. The choice on offer for breakfast was superb. All of the staff we met were really pleasant and helpful including the owners. I would certainly stay... More

Very good location, many of the rooms have good sea views. The guest house is both clean and tidy, staff helpful, very good breakfast and quick service. It would be nice if there was a lift, as our room was on the third floor. But, at this price, it's still value for money. Bed comfortable, bathroom compact, but after all,... More

Much better than expected considering the price of the stay. Only a couple of little things that prevented this from being top. The small shampoo/shower gel holder needed cleaning, the shower has pretty weak but still warm enough and not all the TV remote's buttons worked! On the other hand: the bed was very comfortable, room very clean, friendly staff... More

My wife and I stayed here many years ago and many of the reviews may have been valid then. However on our recent visit we found both staff and the hotel very much improved. The decor throughout was fresh and clean. Whilst undoubtedly the room we had (room 10) been retrofitted with an on-suite it was done tastefully and to... More

I was genuinely surprised to read other comments about 'unfriendly' staff as this was so far from our own experience during the very same week. We found everyone we encountered to be delightful, friendly and ready to chat and make conversation, particularly the lady owner and the cheerful girl who served the (excellent) breakfast. Our room was very well appointed... More

My husband and I stayed at the Anacapri for a week in may. On arrival the lady owner was most unwelcoming, informed us we had to "settle your bill the day before you leave", which we thought was not really on. Room (3) was quite nice with a view over the beach. The double bed however was most uncomfortable and... More

This was another hotel we found online and then went around to see them as it was close to the docks and where our friend was staying. We had to wait until Debbie could come to reception and check us in as they were short staffed and she was helping the cleaners with the rooms - no probs as she... More
