We stayed here for two nights mid-week in June. When we pulled up outside we were, to be honest, a bit concerned as the pub looked very sorry for itself. However you should never judge a book by its cover! Our room, with fantastic views across the harbour, was ideal. It was clean, ample choice in beverages, plenty of storage,... More

Stayed overnight on 4th July. Don't be put off by the exterior or bar area downstairs. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The bedroom was a little compact but it had everything you need and is cosy. The bathroom needed a bit of tlc but again it was very clean and the shower was good. Location wise it's close to... Michael and his team run a great pub with 4 nice rooms upstairs. Nothing is too much trouble and he amazed us with some tasty smoked haddock for breakfast. Location couldn't be better as you drop down a few steps to the very interesting main street of the Falmouth waterfront - pubs, galleries and restaurants. We joined the Quiz Night... More

Very friendly and very busy town pub with one of the best menus I've ever seen. Not because it was vast but for what was on it. We had superb food and the properly kept beers went down very well! Comfortable and clean room with all the normal facilities and being on the side of the hill, a great view... More

This was our Falmouth stop on the Coastal Path, it took us a while to find it up the hill but it was well worth it. A friendly welcome from the landlord, good views over the harbour and an excellent and varied dinner menu - a cut above the usual "pub grub". However, it was clearly a popular and lively... More

Some of the finest views to be had in Britain from the bedrooms and the breakfast room across Falmouth Bay. Very helpful service from the manager, breakfasts were awesome ( i had to rein back on the full English after the first day!). Good value evening meals available in the bar as well. The bar is also dog friendly -... More

The landlord was very welcoming , room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wide ranging in choice and very tasty. Views across Falmouth Harbour were lovely. Close to all the shops. I travelled alone but did not feel uncomfortable at all. Would recomend as a place to stay.

This was exactly what I expect from pub accommodation. A friendly and polite welcome, a clean and well presented room, and a good breakfast. The location is convenient for the town and parking is free on the road outside (space permitting). It was a little bit noisy at times, but nothing that prevented a good nights sleep.

Excellent large bed. Good room. Superb view. Great breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. The only downside is that you are directly above a busy pub lounge, so it is quite noisy until 12.30 when they shut. (we were there for Friday and Saturday evenings)
