We travelled down to Falmouth for a short break and it had been suggested that we stay at the Gyllyngvase H.H. We weren't disappointed. We really enjoyed our stay, our en-suite room was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very smart and spotless. Our breakfast choices were excellent, freshly cooked and well presented. Plenty of tea/coffee, toast... More

Hosts were very friendly. Exceptionally clean room. Upgraded to an ensuite on arrival, thank you! It would be even better if Sue smiled once. Loved the large bottles of soap and shampoo. Wifi was shocking... dropping every 2 min. Overall great experience. Nice handy location.

A one night single room was superb value. Paul and Emma are professional and friendly hosts who clearly know their business well. Would be my first choice to stay in Falmouth again. The breakfast was of high quality served in the dining room overlooking the garden. The décor, soft furnishings and overall appearance was of high quality.

We stayed with a group of friends recently and found the hotel very suitable. Well located, good public rooms, and parking facilities. Quick and efficient service at reception. Our room had recently been furnished and nicely decorated, the shower room, whilst not massive had a good shower. Everywhere was very clean and our breakfast was enjoyable and served hot. We... More

We stayed on three separate occasions in August and found the Hotel to be excellent with relaxed and friendly staff and owner. Breakfasts really super, good car parking, gardens and location. On the first visit we had a room at the rear which was cheaper and not so nearly as nice as the room we had at the front/side with... More

First let me say that I booked the cheap single room which was not en suite. The room is very small but you get what you pay for! The room and bathroom were both clean and well maintained. The bathroom was close by but had no wash basin so it was necessary to come back to the room to wash... More

Our stay was lovely, staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is ideal for both the town and the beach and lots of parking too. Breakfasts were great and our room was clean, light and airy. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice b&b in Falmouth....it's close to Rick Steins restaurant (which was frequented most nights) and the beach is... More

We have stayed at Gyllyngvase on two occasions, we love the Hotel and have been made very welcome on both visits. The staff are friendly and accommodating, its spotlessly clean, offers great breakfast and is in a fabulous location. We would not hesitate to stay there again should we be in that neck of the woods.

The room was minuscule but most of all, even though the. owner knew that I was ill, he kept telling us that we,should be out by 10am. The room is cheap and cold and you can hear the neighbors breathe or move around. Breakfast is business like. Not for seniors

Having arrived some 5 hours earlier than our check in time I gave the guest a blanket as she said she was ill and got them into their room within 30 minutes of arrival. If she was cold it was because she was "ill" as the temperature that day was a warm 18C. In the evening I helped her try... More

I stayed here for a quick 2-night business trip and loved it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is great -- a 5 minute walk from Falmouth Town station and a great beach, and a 10 minute walk from the town center. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was outstanding. My only negative feedback is that the... More
