Always a great place to stop and tuck in to proper local food and drink. It's always reassuring to find the TW still serving great bangers and mash and a clean pint of ale after all these years. This is a living pub that by it's existance brings life to an area which could so easily drift into a culinary... More

We found the TWI via Groupon. We arrived using our satnav but better to use there website instructions as you may get misguided especially in the dark. The rooms were very comfortable and warm, as was the welcome we received. Breakfast was excellent and set you for the day, plenty of choices, including the full Cornish 😋. We ate in... More

Went to Trengilly Wartha for my dad's wedding reception and stayed 2 nights in one of the family rooms. Food was excellent and the welcome was fantastic. The rooms were warm, comfortable and we had everything we could need. I would definately recommend this hotel!

2nd time at Trengilly Wartha and every bit as good as the first. This time took advantage of the 3 nights for 2 offer and stayed in one of the annex's - worth every penny. Food as good as always, and staff as friendly as ever. Could become the location of our yearly mid-winter break. One piece of advice, get... More

We chose the Trengilly Wartha for a three day break because it was dog friendly and had great reviews. After all, Cornwall in February means it's likely that a warm friendly hostelry will be essential. We were not disappointed. Friendly staff; warm comfortable room, good food, great beer, good wines, a huge selection of single malts, brandies and sherries and... More

Had a lovely relaxing time at Trengilly Wartha. The food is superb. We particularly liked the home made chips and crackers. The staff are very friendly and obviously happy working there which always says a lot. Good atmosphere and lovely grounds.

Just stayed here for 2 nights. We couldn't rate this place more highly. My husband, our 3 year old and I had the separate family room. Excellent. Plenty of space. My in-laws had a room in the main Inn. Full of character. Service was superb. Breakfast plentiful and good quality. We ate there both nights. The meals were delicious. Very... More

We booked one night at this inn after we purchased a voucher from Pirate FM radio. What a deal it was!! Although our room was a little small (No. 6). It was still more than adequate for the money we paid. Evening meal was a little expensive, but was home cooked and very nice. Excellent selection of real ales and... More

After our return visit for the 5th year running we are already planning our next visit to this fantastic little Inn. Lisa and Will are the most helpful and welcoming hosts and provide their guests with a very relaxing atmosphere. Always seeking to keep their standards up, the rooms are continually being up-graded to ensure visitors enjoy their break in... More
