I was on business in Devon recently and decided to bring the family to Cornwall for a short break afterwards. We stayed very near this pub in fact we arrived at the holiday cottage quite late and wearily wandered into the Trengilly after an 8hr drive in a hope they could provide us a table for 5 and a dog... The Trengilly never fails to prove the best pub in every way. Gorgeous food, friendly welcoming staff, A great easy going atmosphere for everyone, and a wonderful bistro if you want a bit more of a restaurant setting...don't miss out on this loverly experience. Make the Trengilly part of your places to visit in Cornwall....

We stayed for one night with a group of friends while walking the south west coast path in Cornwall. The inn is secluded among wonderful green, blossoming scenery, but the garden has unfullfilled potensial as a beer garden. No matter, we had a wonderful welcome from Will and his team, great service all the way. Me and my husband stayed... More

Having had many great meals at Trengilly Wartha, we had the opportunity to spend a night there on a recent trip to cornwall. It didn't disapoint. The room and peaceful location were superb, the grounds stunning and dinner and breakfast better than even we had remembered. We will certainly now make it our preferred overnight when visiting our daughter at... More

Just shared a 70th Birthday celebration at this wonderful place. Hog roast, wonderful friends, wonderful food, wonderful location! Highly recommend. Just ask Will & Lisa! Nothing too much trouble and lovely staff.

After seven hours on the road we pulled in to the haven that is Trengilly Wartha Inn. The six acres of beautiful grounds with lawns and ponds were an oasis of calm and tranquility after the M25, M4, M5 and A30 and much appreciated by our dog too. We were welcomed and shown to our rooms , which were pleasant... More

I nearly booked a stay at a place in Marazion until I saw this place and I;m sure glad I did! We had room 1 which was just right, nice comfortable four poster bed and a spotless en suite overlooking the gardens (the room not the en suite!). It's a shame we only had one night but as it was just... More

Second visit to this lovely Inn, stayed in room 1 this time, good double with views over gardens.Very comfortable bed and good size bathroom. Great choice for breakfast, fresh fruit and cereals, full Cornish breakfast, kippers, smoked salmon etc. The bar is generally busy which adds to the warm ambience whilst the Bistro is quieter and more intimate. Very good... More

We stayed for five nights in room 8, which is located separate from the pub. A very good room for the price, with plenty of space, though a little lacking in storage which would be a problem for families. Comfortable bed and clean. A very nice pub with excellent food and staff. In particular the quality of the breakfast was... More

Accessible via snug country roads the Inn itself looks nice. A good amount of parking. Our room (11) was at the back and above the kitchen which was a bit noisy but fine and although lacking in space was clean and fresh. The bar / lounge looked the part with Cornish draft, cider etc but the food was only average... More
