Stayed with 2 colleagues while visiting a supplier in Penryn. I must admit that our first impressions were not good, the approach to the reception was via a covered seating area and quite dark and uninviting. However, the rooms were good and clean with everything you needed, plenty of hot water and complimentary drinks and biscuits. We ate in the... More

We visited for a family trip with 2 young boys, they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and the food is amazing. The rooms are very peaceful and clean, we had a really lovely time and the kids loved feeding their goat and playing in the massive garden. Top notch.

A group of ten of us stayed here from a Thurday to Sunday while diving at porthkerris. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The good quality food was well prepared and the portion size fair. Breakfast selection is very good and cooked to order. There were a good selection of beers including local real ale, cider and lager. The... More

Staying with friends nearby, some walked, some drove to this Inn for dinner. The range of ales and ciders was pleasing. The food was really good - a great meny based around local ingredients, cooked sympathetically and with imagination. The kids enjoyed burger and chips while the grown ups went for more varied fare. Even the bread and butter pudding... More

Very welcoming to families, good food and menu. Just had a family meal following at the end of a family holiday in Mullion. Great place to meet, would definitely recommend it for families. All staff were very welcoming.

This is the second time we have used this pub as a base, while visiting family in the locality. It's beginning to feel a bit like home from home. The service is relaxed, but attentive. We could come and go as we pleased, and had two relaxed family meals in the buzzing bar area. We were able to have an early breakfast on... More

We spent 2 nights here while attending a local wedding. The room was comfortable though we didn't have the local goat visiting. We ate in the bistro on one night and the food was of a good standard. It was very busy with a lively atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Booked this at the last minute and was absolutely delighted with the inn. The service was fantastic: nothing was too much trouble and the staff were incredibly helpful. The room was lovely, the bar friendly, the food great and even the dog was welcomed! The location, in the depths of the country, is marvellous as well.

This was such a pleasant surprise! The service here is excellent! We were warmly greeted and allowed a leisurely check-in (drink at the bar first) since our drive down the farm track given by the satnav was a bit harrowing. Very personal service, we were given a cafetiere for our room for the morning so we didn't have to drink... More
