We recently returned from a 3 night break here. We stayed in the garden annexe which was excellent accommodation, spacious, very nicely furnished, a very comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. The only drawback during our stay was that on the day we arrived we had no hot water as there was a fault with the boiler which was... More

We had a wonderful 3 night stay as a family of four which included two teenage boys. We stayed in room 10 which was the perfect accommodation suite for us. Breakfast each morning was possibly the best cooked breakfast we've ever had. We ate each night in the restaurant - we we're spoilt for choice - the food was to... More

I booked this as a birthday surprise for my partner Dawn. It just couldn't have gone any better. From the minute we arrived the staff were helpful and friendly, dinner in the Bistro superb. I'd arranged for a bottle of wine to be in the room, which was waiting for us, together with a birthday card from the staff. They... More

Seemingly in the middle of nowhere and reached by narrow lanes although in reality only 5 or so miles from Falmouth this Inn come B&B lives up its reputation gained via numerous awards the owners have won. The rooms are very comfortable with lunch and dinner being available. Breakfast is a highlight on its own. The bistro and bars bubble... More

We stayed here for one night during our Cornwall road trip - it was a beautiful country setting, and as a few others have stated, tricky to find! Make sure you keep an eye out for the posted signs as you travel the narrow back roads! We were greeted by Whiskey (the pub dog - terrier, I believe), who was... More

We took my mother here and we were made very welcome, but unfortunately the weather was poor so we were not able to appreciate or even view the garden. The bar interior Is quite rustic and eclectic, with a woodburner, which despite a fan did not really warm the place sufficiently. We enjoyed our meal, but there was a disappointing... More

Not the easiest pub to find, but the warm welcome and hearty meals made it worthwhile. Young children eat free with a dining adult during the week. Fresh mussels were excellent, as was the lamb burger. The children's meals were served with a small salad. Efficient service by friendly staff.

We came down to Cornwall to visit friends over the Easter Weekend and knowing the Trengilly was not far from their location in Constantine booked a room here. We booked a family room in the main building for us and our son. The approach is a real 'Welcome to Cornwall, hope you aren't too fond of your wing mirrors' type... More

I booked this as a surprise birthday treat for my husband on the strength of the CAMRA recommendation and the web site menu. The hotel was a little tired but welcoming and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The beer was excellent and the bar was run very efficiently. The dinner was good but somehow did not excite as... More

We needed a place to stay that welcomed dogs. Our daughter and son-in-law stayed here a couple of weeks before us and gave it a good review. We weren't disappointed. We had a lovely, clean and comfortable room and a bed big enough for us and the dog. The hotel sits in pretty grounds lovely for an early morning stroll.... More
